On a scale of 1 - Avery, I'd but Marchand at a 7 but I do agree with your overall assessment
He scores a 100pts so we put up with it

Yeah, sure. Which is what makes this even more frustrating. Marchand does NOT need to resort to that stupidity AT ALL. The Bruins don't win because of him acting like a complete idiot. But, he chooses to because well, he's an idiot. Classless idiot.
Suzuka Master
Agree. Every Boston fan loves Marchand The Pest, its honestly great to watch, but there have been multiple times over his career that he has gone over the edge and you just shake your head because he didnt have to do it.
As someone who watches the team on a regular basis, hes gotten better this year with the dirty shit, but the stigma will always be there and deservedly so

For the record, I was born in STL

Krug should've gotten a penalty for that play.

I mean he doesnt take a single stride inside the offensive zone, keeps both feet on the ground and hits a guy playing the puck

Don't care about NHL, but I'm going to watch a bit. Hope the Bruins win for a historic Boston trifecta.
Senior Moderator
Oh look. Bruins score with 6 players on the ice.
I guess with the Sharks no longer in play for the NHL to gift a Cup to, they will do that for Boston instead. Gifting them with non-calls already.

Look, I hate the Blues, so before people think I have it in for the Bruins, this is not about that. Just calling it as I see it. Crap play and Krug should've been penalized...period. Horrid play. Cheap too.

I hate both of them, but not equally.
Was a good day, both baseball & hockey Boston teams lost.

The non-calls and calls in favor of Boston are blatantly obvious. Glad STL was able to pull one out last night. Sadly it looks like the outcome is already predetermined

Well, if there is a team that has the resilience, it's the Blues. They were in last place at a point this season.

Although, you hit a Bruin, you get suspended. A Bruin hits anyone, they are just finishing their check.

Also, the 3rd goal in game 3 where Boston player was 3-4 feet offsides, NBC shows 5 different angles how he's offsides and Toronto says he's good
Some VERY questionable officiating continues... Makes it hard to enjoy watching my favorite sport

Couldn't agree more. Boston will most likely win. They need no help.

I'm never a fan of blaming the person getting hit, but he put himself in a very vulnerable position, Sundqvist didn't have time to let up. That suspension was laughable to me. Especially thinking back to last year when Wilson took Marchesault's head off in game 1 and then continued head hunting the rest of the cup final. Gotta love double standards...

Blues played like a different team last night, back to how they looked early in this series. That early goal to get the crowd going by O'rly was huge. Definitely an entertaining game

Hawks hire Marc Crawford to be assistant coach. Okay, sure.
I don't care who they hire. Fix that blueline.

He hit stick on stick playing the puck, dude dove. Could have been tripping but I didn't have a problem with the no call
Senior Moderator
Just calling it as evenly as possible...and FWIW, the Bruins should NOT be complaining given how they have gotten away with murder in the playoffs so far. Just sayin' that the Blues got away with one yesterday.

Well, St. Loo now has a tough one back in Boston. I think odds are, Bruins will raise the Cup.
And if they know what's good for them, the first "team member" Burjahron hands the Cup to is the ref.
