Hey, hey Hockeytown...
It is what it is. Name me another team that has traded away 2 top 10 scorers and a top 25 scorer and is still a top contender for the cup.

Moog is keeper of the bong. Dom is keeper of the crack pipe but technically it's just on loan from the Rob Ford collection.

I have to admit, seeing the Nucks come back out to shake Smyth's hand was pretty darn classy and moving.

Very nice gesture.

So no more Shanabans, bring on the inconsistent Stephane-abans.

Can't believe the Avs went from last in the West to winning the Central in a years time. Mind blowing but I love it. Makes me realize how horrible Sacco was as a coach.

Well, every team goes through a slump during the regular season. Just that the Blues decided to stink it up right before the playoffs.

We'll see if that means anything against the Hawks. Playoffs are a whole different breed and I don't usually believe too much in "regular season momentum".

Kings were an a regular season slide at the end of the season when they went on their incredible Cup run.

Regular season is meaningless. The post season is a whole new game.

Very true...but there is something to be said about getting hot in late March/April going into the playoffs.

I'm glad my Pens have players coming back from injury, but it's a tough time to change line dynamics. Fortunately, many of those guys are used to playing well together and it shouldn't take long to gel again.
