Are you Kinetic, the JLC vendor?
I was running Cmax Gold from autozone but the rear nonchamferred design gave me a choppy sound.

Yooo Kinetic, I did a lot of research before I order these, and I was on another forum where a guy said he ran stock pads (I think this was corvette or camaro application) and it ate deep into the rotors. Whether the particular pad you are looking to run with these rotors will do the same...I haven't a dam clue (or if this was just a case of bad luck; not trying to trash this thread at all). But I just wanted to pass along my knowledge.

I have had the pad/rotor set on for over a week and have been loving every second of it...for the price I'd say why not just run the pads they supply, my (I had 9K miles on my stock pads/rotors when I changed to this setup and I am happy I made the change, even though my stock stuff was basically new)

Sorry about that I mean't to say BREMBO pads with the D/S rotors that was just a typo.

Any resolution to the rotors with only one line of cross drilled holes between the slots vs. the 2 lines going on a TL-S or 6 speed TL with Brembos? I just got my rotors today and they only have the 1 line of holes like the rotors for the Auto TLs.

danny, Sean, of BM says that it's normal and there are 2 different designs. He says that you should call his customer service with the part numbers to confirm they are correct for your application. Personally, I dig the double line look a LOT more.

Well, if they ARE the same thing...Sean should probably give the option to choose which one you want. Don't install them yet til you get a response. He may let you swap them.

^^^ already did....

driver side was SHOT....passenger side had 10-12K worth of life left....swapped outer pads side to side....kinda balance the full thing.....

i dont drive much anyway (until May)....but i feel the pads have done their job wonderfully....rears already have 80K on them, fronts have 40K on them and the rotors have 80K no wear....

i was wanting to go another 20K overall and then switch the full setup, but guess will go another round of pads before rotors....heard great things about the ET500 pads and they are pretty decently priced...I am replacing my Hawk HPS which i feel were 8/10, GREAT GREAT pads....but Inaccurate has me convinced on the ET500's....

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. I was able to crack the case of the single drill pattern vs. the dual drill pattern. All that happened was that the new batch of rotors that came in only had a single row of drill holes, which is mainly due to the vane configuration of the rotors we received. The warehouse is out of the rotors with the dual drill pattern. Please note, that the castings are excellent quality and having the single drill pattern will not affect the performance in any way.

All other PM's responded to and sent!

Thanks for the pics!!! You want to do the break in procedure once, that should do the job. Typically with a slotted rotor, you will get a ticking noise, but after you put some miles on the rotors, it should diminish quite a bit!

Ok thanks I've quite a few miles on them now an they are good stopping is much better than the oem crap I had. Thanks for fast shipping and a great product. If they don't warp and hold up I got a couple people interested they are just waiting to see how they work out for me. Do you have anything for a 2012 TL? My neighbor just got one and was wondering

I am sorry to hear about this! It is very, very rare that the rotors would be warped in that small period of time! Please give me a call so I can look into this for you for other possibilities.

@Rockstar143 - As I said above, it is very rare that the rotors would encounter any problems this early! No worries, Brakemotive stands behind their product!

@westhaventl - I just sent you the direct checkout link for the online payment. Let me know if you have any additional quesitons!

@Mondo375 - I have the 08 TL-S 5AT (non Brembo) available for $145.00 shipped. If you are ready to place an order, all I will need is your email address so I can send you a direct checkout link for an online payment!

Sean...I know you stand behind your product...but the REAL question is...do you stand in front of a CAR with your product!!!

Just kidding, man...I'm not much for worry...it leads to early ED. I'm happy with my purchase and am always happy to know I can get back to you with any issues down the line.
Have a great weekend.
