BRAKEMOTIVE Drilled & Slotted Brake Kits - LOWEST PRICES EVER!

Am I reading this right? Only $220 shipped for 4 rotors and pads for an 07 TLS? That's a crazy deal...it's the same price as 1 pair of Jordans.
I haven't been on this forum for 2 years and now just getting back in since I'm not 100% happy with my brakes so sorry if I got a bunch of noobish type questions. Appreciate any help.
First, does the brake fluid really make a difference in performance? In searching the threads, everyone talks about Motul. Where do you buy it from and what do you feel difference wise? I have 52k miles and never changed the brake fluid.
Second, my brakes have been starting to squeak. It's only when I back up at slow speeds, but it's a really loud, high pitched noise. I have Racingbrake pads from Heeltoe that I put on 2 years ago with stock rotors. They only have 7k miles on them. I've tried brake cleaner, but it hasn't fixed the issue.

About 4k miles. They have been run hard, they have also been wet then immediately sat for 2 months without even moving - still no rust.
I have done a couple 45 mph to dead stop with full ABS action. Rotors still look good. No lips and even pad wear.
I drive this car hard 85% of the time.
Yes you are reading it right. There was a group buy where most of us got them for 200.00.
The DOT 3 fluid will be fine for most all of your normal driving duties. If you are gonna run your brakes hard and get them hot then a DOT 4 fluid or even DOT 5 fluid would be completely OK.
It is recommended at 3 years to replace brake fluid and is not a bad idea to prolong caliber life.
Most people when swapping to SS brake lines will change their fluid out then and do a complete flush.
As far as squeek. Have you pulled the rim off and inspected pads. There is a wear indicator on the pads that will rub the rotor indicating pads are low material.
I have seen cars squeek only in reverse and it is usually the shim, going forward it finds its sweet spot and when going reverse the shim will shift and cause a squeek.
You could remove pads and re-grease that shim to keep it in place.
When your pads wear it will cause a little gap allowing shim to shift while not braking.
Others may have a better answer, but that is off top of my head with no scientific backing.

Rotors and Pads for 2003 CL type S MT
Needed to change the brakes on my '03 CL type S MT. 83,500 miles and time to do something (83,500 is not a typo). Saw all the positive feedback for Brakemotive so ordered front and back rotors and pads (after a nice PM from Sean @ Brakemotive) on Friday, 7/27. Price was 161.95 plus tax. Delivery was Saturday, 7/28 (free shipping) – I just can’t understand why they didn’t show up on Friday (yuck yuck). Put the front rotors on this evening (Tuesday). Did the bed in and found significant improvement over old stock that I had and am looking forward to more fun.
Thanks to all the contributors on Acurazine for sharing their experiences! And thanks to Brakemotive for saving me some big $$ (have had child or children in college the past 7 years, with 5 years in a row yet to go ... then a short break ... and then the last one yet to go - so the CL needs to last for a while yet!).
Love my CL. Love those 6 speeds. Looking forward to more fun!
My CL is black on black, no navigation, MT. Only modification was the addition of an iPod converter which works great.

Put on my front rotors and pads about 10 days ago, they are amazing compared to the stock rotors and pads and also stock rotors with duralast Cmax pads. I even returned the Cmax pads to autozone for a full refund cause I complained about how bad they sucked. I still havent had a chance to try these out at high speeds but Im sure they will be great there too. Thanks a bunch BrakeMotive, I will be buying the rears from you when the time comes...

So If I get these for a 2nd Gen TL-P they should be just plug and play?
I wont have to get separate calipers?
and the pads will fit right in with my old ones?
Also if I end up getting some LEGEND calipers will these pads fit in those also?
Sorry I'm kind of new to this whole thing.

He thanked it because rockstar was stating to those that don't know Sean is going through a time and that you need to put your big girl pants on and be patient for responses at the current moment.
He was merely stating that if you want faster responses and/or products from Brakemotive that it would be more suited to contact them directly so other members of Brakemotive can better/further assist you to get their bomb ass product faster.
That is all. And we are Thanks whores.

I've installed all 4 on my car, sad to see a more brownish brake dust over stock's black dust. Been testing and breaking in the front rotors/pads and I don't counter a sound when coming to a stop like some people do. As far as breaking in the rear, there isn't really a procedure is there?

The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.

Installed them about 1k miles ago, gotta say they're doing great so far. Brakes much better than what I previously had on there which cost me more than what I paid for those... I didn't really get any noise from them either all you can hear is a "shhh" when braking close to a wall or fence and you have to have windows and radio down to hear it.

Installed last week and I got to say these Brakes feel great. Ran into alot of noise right after the install. But after the bedding process and a few hours of normal driving, the noise has subsided.
I'll be in contact to get another set for my wifes 06 TL. Thanks Sean
