Well my phone is dead so if you are trying to get a hold of me PM me your phone I can call on the land line. As for CAI weather it is short or Long like Fugita it is consider a CAI. I have a Weapon R Secret weapon it also has a Ram Air intake not installed yet. I say get what you like you get fairly about the same from all of them. As far as HP when we all Dyno our cars, Glow who has less mods had more HP than Josh I was a few decimals of behind Josh I can't remember what Dan had but we were all about .0000somtething of each other. On another note I will be going to the Star Wars exhibit at the Science Museum tomorrow morning. I will let you know how it is.

I think the bullbar and the tails are the only 2 mods I plan for the truck. I'm not supposed to be driving it as much as I have been with the gas prices the way they are.

So back on track (sorry about the truck-whoring....)

So what's everyone's thoughts about the two meets? I'm down for Sunday to have a meet. Does anyone know if DCTC (thanks for explaining blacura) has grills and such? Or is this more of a photo meet?

Also as for Friday - I'm definately going to raceway park for the races. It pretty much comes down to whether or not any of you are going to meet me there. If anyone wants - I can always take some passangers with if you want to save a few bucks in gas since there's really not much of a reason to roll 20 deep into the field that we park in. For every person we get to carpool = 1 less target for the rednecks to run into.

DCTC would be to check out some autocross action and support your fellow 'ziners! I doubt there would be any place to grill and chill, and there is absolutely NO ALCOHOL allowed at the track. You drunkards!

So far it is just going to be Blackura and I on the track running TLs, unless Jorge gets off his booty and signs up. Tires be damned!!! They are always making more!

What if I am not actually ON the track, just standing off to the side?

So I'd still be interested in checking this out. Although, I still think we need to plan a good 'ol fashion bbq sometime in the near future.

Any of you have park passes? I thin kit would be a good time to head to the Dam by my place - but it would be like $4 for each of us if nobody has a park pass.

Oh - and Jorge.... We got some sweet eggrolls from Ken. When are we gonna get some homemade tamale's or something from you?

Me, being the fine german that I am, could bring some Hefeweizen next time.

Nope, you bring Alcohol and I get the boot from the autocross club. Basically the assumption is that if you have it and we are talking, I have been partaking.

We can do a BBQ on Sunday this weekend, riverside park? Now that everyone knows where it is there shouldn't be a problem finding it. Hell, even Razzi found it!

That would actually work out pretty slick. I have to do a move this Sunday, so I will be downtown anyways right off 94 and 35.

Any idea when? I am going to be at work fairly early for the move - so I will be done around 10-11 I'm guessing. I might have to kick it with you until the party starts josh.

I'm gonna bring bocce ball this next time too. I'll get the list started and we can see how things go from there.

Glow - Brats (again)
Josh - Charcoal

I'm guessing 12-1 start? I dont want to bring Charcoal since I have no use for it afterwards, does anyone have a charcoal grill? If so, you are on the hook for charcoal. I'll bring more burgers and burger buns.

To make this easier than last time, if you bring food, you bring the buns associated. I still have the ketchup and mustard from last time, so I can bring that too. Since I have burgers, I'll bring cheese too.

Razzi brings the damn eggrolls, I vote that this is his permanent assignment.

Blackura did a good job with the sodas, so I nominate him for that.

Also, if you say you are bringing the charcoal and lighter fluid, you better show up! Last time the charcoal person didn't show and we ended up eating raw meat, it wasn't pretty.

Check with the vendor of the CAI to see what the part numbers are, with the limited info you have given us, I have no idea...

I can't find a manufacturer that makes CAI's for both makes to see if the part number is the same. Although the air filter and oil filter on both are the same.

If I were a gambling man, I would say yes - it will fit. It might take modifying a bracket or something, but the engines are pretty much the same

99% sure you won't have a problem since neither has VSC or a type-s motor, but you should probably search the TL forum just to be sure.

How's everybody doin? Looks like you have been having some fun out there. Wish I was able to chill at a meet. I am coming out mid-late july to move some of my stuff back to RI - We should for sure try and do something. I will let you know when I will be there once I know for sure.

OK... so I have to ask.

Slepybear - what's with the name? I'm wondering if it is Sleepybear (since the bear looks like he is wearing pajama's?)

I think we have all said it before, but I'll mention it again just so you don't think I'm calling you out or something. I used to have an '83 cutlass with t-tops, craiger S/S rims, and neon lights underneath. So Glowrdr = Glow Rider

Also - I think a buerkle meet in July sounds like great plan. I guess the next step is to perhaps get it OK'ed with them, and possibly keep the date open and we can let them know as soon as Dan gets back to us? (Reminds me of the roxbury - "Do they know about our plan?"

I got the nickname sleepybear when i went down to Florida with my team for world cup a few years back, because we stayed at a travel lodge hotel, and the room we got was covered in that bear doing a bunch of stuff, and it creeped me out. If you look closely he's half asleep and half stoned..
Any ways, I tried making several accounts for this, and this was number 3, the only one i actually received an email for, but i was getting impatient, and managed to misspell "sleepy" twice in the username part..

Josh - I should have the RAM by the time I get home. It's out for delivery now. Did we just want to get together this Sunday and swap? Or did you want to get together before then?

Either way - let me know.

Alright Spiritman you could probably go ahead start setting one up or atleast make contact with them again for now if you want. I'm sure more people will get on the list.

I'm so interested in the 19" Axis's in the BM right now. $450 for the set. No tires, but still - Ichecked on the prices, and they were going for $450 each new.

Glow, I can wait until Sunday, NP.

As for the 19" wheels, if you buy them, there are a lot of 19" tires in CraigsList, so you could get tires cheap.

The price is awesome, but my heart is kind of set on the Hiro's. I will stew over it for a bit and see what happens.

Technically I'm not really ready for tires as I just bought a new set last fall - so I was kind of hoping to wait until I actually need new rubbers before I go and spend all my loot on a set of rims when my current tires are perfectly fine.

.....Damn - that was one of the most logical thought's I've had in a while. I'd spend $3500 on a S/C without thinking, but tires.... no way.. lol

Wait on the Hiro's.

And get a damn exhaust already!!

On another note, I went over to the shop last night and rotated my tires. Jorge took some pics to show you what 4 weekends of autocross will do to your front tires. It was pretty funny to see the two sets of tires next to each other. Oh well, tires are made to be used! Off to another autocross to shred the 'new' front tires!

Looks much nicer than the stock wheels. I have never been a fan of those 16's. I agree with the other poster that we need closer photos to really know what they look like.

+1 at needing better photos. Come to one of our meets and we can take care of that for ya.

So have we really decided anything else about a meet this Sunday? So far it sounds like just me and you josh...lol

Maybe we'll just have to go over to Jorge's place and kick it (literally) with the girlies.
