Shuffling is awesome! I always want to shuffle when I listen to Hardstyle music lol. I love that kind of music; I actually went to my first illegal rave when I was only in fourth grade

It seems like that piece of paper is a necessity these days. At least this is my last semester before I graduate!

Ya, had to take the page down cause my buddy linked it to his personal facebook page. In order for any of us to sign into it we had to sign into HIS facebook page so I took it down. Have to wait 14 days before it gets deleted, then we are going to put up a separate page.

Hi guys, some of you might know me from the past used to drive a black out TSX. After owing 2 BMWs in the past 2 years, I'm finally back to Acura because the BMW were too expensive to upkeep. I still love BMW tho.

Just traded the 530i for a 04 TL with 96k miles with water pump and timing belt done. Been driving for a few days now, it feels just like my 530i.

I'm already wanting to start modding it, first mod question is, have anyone here just had the resonator deleted? If so, how does it sound.

Looking forward to meet you guys and catch up all the fun that I missed in the past 2 years lol

Man all this tire research deal is killing me . Don't know which tires to go with, so far the two I really want: Nitto Neo gen and Nitto invo don't make a 225/35/19 tire. So now's there's: Falken 452's, Dunlop direzza dz101, or Hankook ventus V12 Evo K110. If anybody who ever had or used these tires before can shed some light my way, that would be great TIA. BTW this is for my new set-up.

Cant tell you about the sound from a stock exhaust without the resonator but I can tel you about my custom magnaflows. I bought 2 magnaflow mufflers and did a CAT, resonator and midmuffler delete. Its got a nice tone to it, especially when you put your foot down, but it is not so loud that its annoying either.

Here is a link to a video of the exhaust....

I been looking for tires too... The Continentinals ExtremeContact DWS is probably the one I'll be going with. But as for the Summer... I'd get the V12's or the Dunlop Star Spec Z1. I've had the Yoko's S-Drives too and it was great.

I need to pick up a set of dedicated winter tires too.. I think I'm getting some Blizzak WS70's. Anyone have any input on them?

Guys, when I was reading the forum. I found a thread sayin that we should replace the 3rd and 4th transmission pressure fluid switch?? I just purchased a 04 TL ( tranny flushed by the dealer) with 96k from the dealer, so didn't if they had replaced those yet. However I do feel a sluggish/ jerk in 3rd gear around 30to 40 mph zone with light throttle. Something wrong with my tranny?

Just wondering have any of us here replaced them? What's the symptom of it need to be replaced?

I've done the 3x3 with Redline D4. A big difference coming from the Honda AtF, when spring come I'm going to switch to the racing and lightweight ATF.

how many miles on your car? How hard is it to do the 3x3? because the shudder really worry me, and the reason why i traded my 530 for a TL is because i experienced the same issue on the 530i but worse. Thought TL reliabilty is much higher than bmw.

where can i get the redline racing atf? Have you done the pressure switches?

I'd do the transmission flush along with the preassure switches. The ATF is as easy as an oil change. Search the garage page and they DIY for both the switches and the 3x3

Looks like I'm sticking to the my current 18's with Nitto Neo Gens. Been having a random rattle from the front for a while and today as I took my car to get my wheel alignment done. They said that I should replace my sway bar links, that that's what causing the random rattle. So I will be picking up parts to support my upgraded (coilover) suspension. New ingalls front (s) and rear (s) sway bar links has been ordered . Things I have yet to get are: Ingalls rear camber kits, Comptech rear swar bar, and Skunk 2 UCA for the fronts.

I just changed to GM juice (6MT) and it was just as easy as an oil change.
I must say the TL is an easy car to work on !

Had our resident Acura Tech fix a couple of studs on my hub, clean off my AEM filter and replace a seal on my power steering pump yesterday. Also figured out the spring on my tension pulley is what is making my car howl (not the power steering pump as I first thought)....damn car is a money pit.

....and yet, still worth every penny!

Still alive!

I feel kind of bad. I love the G, but I'm just not into it like I was the TL. Seems that I'm broke, cars got hella miles on it (so no modding for now) and the paint on it is just wrecked. The person before me didn't take care of it, so I've got bugs in the clearcoat. I washed it by hand a couple of times, but even then it doesn't really turn out well since you can see everything on the black.

Although its a lot less work and stress just to have a DD that you can run through the carwash, and park anywhere you want. I still watch for door dings, but that's about it.

lol I got the unlimited pass for the Holiday gas station, so I wash mines whenever it gets dirty. I only go to the touch free ones without those spinning mop like things touching the car. Usually in the spring/summer when it's nice out mines stays polished and waxed.

I was debating getting one of those. It's like $30 a month isn't it?

Occasionally I'll take the time and wash my car by hand, wax it, etc.. But only when I want it looking it's best, or I'm bored

I've never brought mine through a car wash, touchless or not. The detergents they use are pretty harsh, I'ver heard. The most i'll do during the winter is bring it to a self wash station and just preassure wash the whole car.

Hey guys. First post here. I just bought my 2008 TL and it's pretty well stock at the moment. First thing I'm looking to do is tints. What % did most of you go with? I know the 'legal' tint in MN is 50% but that's ridiculous. I was thinking of going with 35% - do the shops care if you ask for this? I was going to get a quote from Sun Control in Eden Prairie for ceramic. Also anyone here gotten any tickets for 35%? I would think the cops would only care if it's like 20% or less.
