Anyone here dyno'd their car around the cities before? With nice cold weather I'd like to get a base tune before I get some serious mods. I've been to RS Motors, MAPerformance, and FullBlown with my previous cars. Any good knowledgable man you guys go to?

Hey fellas, haven't been around in a while, thought I'd check in. Seems like lots has happened in the last few months.
I'm back in the market for a car but it's going to be getting a lot of hwy abuse so I'm not looking to spend much at all. No Nismo . Right now the Mini is leading the pack in $$ for value and fun factor. I'll have to let you guys know when I get something.

It almost makes me wish I hadn't gone through all the trouble on my TL.
Edit: FWIW, one of my 6' 4" friends said he fits totally comfortably in our Mini. He was impressed.

I didn't say that anyone with legs would be able to sit behind me, but I don't have the seat all the way back when I drive one. There's still room for longer legs than mine.
I wouldn't want to drive for 4 hours with Pineapple riding shotgun, but if it's me and someone smaller than I, there's no issue with shoulder room.
Bmeyer, that's totally it. The first time I drove one I was giggling like a girl after mashing on the throttle the first time (granted, that was a JCW), who would have ever thought that 200hp would be so much fun. And the damn thing turns like it's on rails, it's just a super-fun little car.

My thoughts EXACTLY! The other thing that I love is the resale factor. For the price that we paid for ours, we could have actually turned around and traded it in the next day and made money on the deal. We looked at several Mini's and they were all within a 3k price range. Mileage ranged from 15k to 90k. It's just incredible.

With her in the back and you and I up front that car felt really claustrophobic. The Mini will be my car, meaning no car seat. If we're taking Bodhi somewhere, then we're gonna roll in the Mordenwagon.

If they didn't ship I would have cancelled, but it's too late now :\ I'd have to pay a restocking fee and it wouldn't be worth it then. Plus, the ones I ordered weren't spendy at all actually. I am looking for a new automatic shifter now and a deck lip and roof spoiler. Small, but tasteful mods

With the colder mornings that we have been getting lately, I just ordered some Ngk Laser Iridium spark plugs and a K&N replacement drop-in air filter. Reminder to all you guys that you should check your fluids, battery, tire pressure, & ect since it's getting colder out .

Not that it really matters though - none of us have the cars anymore. lol
I'd almost think about doing another Dyno day, even though I'm completely stock. It was a good time.

So just some info for anyone interested in tires. I had replaced the Bridgestone Turenza Serenity's with the new Goodyear Assurance TripleTred All Seasons.
Well, the Serenity's sucked ASS in the snow (couldn't stop for the life of me) but they handled excellent on dry/wet pavement. I didn't realize this until I bought the new Goodyears. I'm hoping I traded off for some snow traction, but I won't know for a bit. But I do know that with my TC turned off, I can light up all 4 tires if I want to. I could chirp the old tires, but nothing too exciting. Kind of fun on corners when you can drift though. lol - although I'm trying to keep myself in check for the life of the car and the tires. At over $900, I can't afford to be burning them up every year. lol

We should get something locked down next year for this.. I actually think I would get a tune after I do some spring modding to my car and would like to see what it puts out on the Dyno after that...

I haven't but i would like to. Recently bought a TL early in the year and have been trying to keep up on here. Also recently bought a set of 85122+ and i absolutely hate the color. My stock Osrams were going out and needed a replacement, i have to track down some CBI's and put these +'s up for sale. With these not have any colorshift means they will suck forever!

I recall it being a little different than that. Actually I think I had Jorge's by a few HP. We didn't know if it was the difference between the intakes, or a little extra love from Japan. (Just looked for my sheet, but I can't find where I saved it to when I scanned it)
