I'm fairly new to Virginia Beach and still learning my way around.
Where do you suggest around here for reliable service?
I'm looking at 130,000 miles soon. I can hardly believe it.

 

damn. can't make the meet on saturday. f'in 12 hour shifts. anyone going out later that nite? i used to roll by all the "spots" but they seems to be dry as of late. and bass pro hasn't started up. I used to know where everything was but not so much anymore.

What's going on guys...just wanted to stop in and say hi from the Bahamas. Our honeymoon comes to an end tomorrow. We're flying out in the morning and should be home tomorrow night. It's been a pretty nice trip. I've even seen some decent looking Honda Sabre's...RHD and everything. Didn't get any pics though. Hope all is well back in VA Beach and see you guys again soon.

Adrian you doing the IM spacer mod? Im looking to pull the trigger on that tuesday. If ya want we should put them in together cuz i wanna do ur TB coolant bypass while I have that crap off.

 

I think I'm going to wait. I like to see more results from that. Plus it kind of scares me to raise the IM higher than the height I have now with the Outlaw spacer.

I would be glad to help you on yours. Do you have all the parts needed?

 

I have nothing Im just a bit confused on the bolts. Between home depot bolts...bmw bolts and oem bolts/ Im kinda confused. Also the washers thing to raise the hood.

Im wondering of I should run the stock gasket and the P2R spacer?

 

I would go with the bolts that gerzand recommend (bmw) unless you can find an Acura/Honda dealer that has them. I was looking under my hood yesterday and saw where the washers come into play when you add them to the hinges. As far as the spacers I would get 2 stock gaskets and the OEM spacer. That way you would go too high and the spacer will still do the job.

Let me know when you get them.

 

Ok this pic clears it up. Im going to run the P2R on the motor and the Stock on the manifold figure id save 18 bux that way.

I called Checkered Flag BMW and they have the bolts on hold for me (all seven too) I will pick them up monday.

Not sure where to order the 2 runner bolts. I was thinking of maybe running without them like accu-rate but not sure if that will hold up in the long run.

I called Hall Acura about the spacer and they said it was 29 and change and i would have to order monday. I checked Delray acura and they have it for 21 and change but it would be 30 to get it here so ill stay local.

Think I can find the 2 runner studs local??

 

I thought accu-rate found those at lowes as well? Maybe that's a look.

I'm not liking how acu rate has to have his hood all jacked up like that. You could see what TL2SLOW is doing. I believe he said he was having like a half inch or maybe a quarter inch taken off the spacer...

yeah I was running Axis Hiros but they are retired as they sit in my garage curb checked, clear coming off and 2 tires showing radials They will be back one day.

Those wheels are nice, but I would get them in 19's. Anything smaller would look funny IMO.

That's why I'm reluctant in doing this. Eric when I see this mod done on your car, I will make my decision.

Aww man I was stuck in traffic in Indian River the other day and when i saw a lane opening in the other lane I went to floor it moving over and i swear i almost slammed into my steering wheel cuz the car just accelerated like a snail.

i was kinda embarrassed by it cuz I was WOT and i wasnt going anywhere. is that the stupid hot ass coolant going thru the TB. I swear TL's suck in hot weather.

 

It's funny you mention that. I don't know what happen since the car show, but my car has been unusually peppy lately. Even when it's really hot out. I haven't changed anything with the expection of an alignment. That would not do much though.

 

Well good to see some chatting going on in here. I think a meet in July would give plenty of time for everybody to get their schedules set up.

Accu-rate's hood is so high cuz he kept his plastic on. So mine shouldn't be so bad

 

That explains alot cause when that guy did the can crush test, there seemed to be enough room left...
