I should be able to make this as long as nothing comes up at work. We have a pretty crazy schedule right now so I can't make any promises, but I'll be there if I can. It'll give me a chance to test out my new camera too. Nothing special...it's a Sony A200 DSLR. I haven't messed with it to much yet and this should be a good opportunity.

hey whats up guys? my names johnny and i just moved back to chesapeake from washington state not too long ago and i have a 2003 tl-s... yeah depressing i know. im really starting to have bad tranny problems and was wondering if anyone knew any good acura transmission specialist that isnt too expensive? its an automatic tranny-- thinking i am gonna need a rebuild, maybe even a replacement. thanks

Ok, so i just had an alignment after getting my Teins put on and of course it is out of spec. The Firestone people said that i need a camber kit. Just wondering of those that have their cars lowered, how many have camber kits on them?......Thanks

 

Wish I had a camber kit when I had my toyo proxies With my 1 inch drop and a 70 lb box in the trunk I shredded thru my tires in 11k.

Since then I put in the SPC rear upper control arms and never had any more issues after that. I never did the front but the guy at the shop adjusted what he could without a kit.

i would also love to come to the cheeseburger meet but i gotta be in south dakota on the 21st.... court is a b*$#@ but hopefully i can get my tranny rebuilt and i will definitely be at the next meet. i really would like to get together with fellow tl-ers in the area though and have some fun in the sun.

For the camber kit issue, search "heeltoe camber kit". Mr Heeltoe has a great thread out there. I don't have one, rotate my tires every 5K and they are wearing perfect. no box in the trunk, though.

My suspension is suckin. I have a SPC in the rear and Ingals in the front. I only have a 1.2/1.1" drop.

Derick - If you don't plan on going too low, you might not need a kit.

 

I don't know how a suspension could survive on these roads! I'm gonna have to get a beater before things start falling off the girl.

 

I just had to slow down and drive like I have a "slow rider". These roads are the worst.

 

I might not be able to make it to the one on the Sunday but def gonna be there on the 1st.

I just noticed that they took away the My Garage above our avatar. So I went to my profile to change it and I noticed that it says you should contact the administrator if your birthdate has changed...really, is that possible. I thought it was kinda funny.

Well that would explain the 1100. then cuz both axles plus that center support is about 600 at delray so our NJ warehouse prob wants 700-800 in parts and they want about 3 in labor so yeah. That makes a bit more sense.

According to the sale receipt it's R/CV axle and R/axle support parts and labor is $738.97. L/CV axle parts and labor is $386.21.

I don't know if my tq is that strong. I think it's a combo of that and being lowered.

 

Would you guys wanna meet up a little earlier? I'm wondering if you might hit a big rush of people at 1 and maybe have a hard time getting a seat for all of us. Just a thought...let me know what you guys think.
