^LOL

So yeah yesterday I did 50% (front) of my Tien install and I cant say im to impressed. I measured my car from the ground to the middle of all the fenders and they were all 25" with the exception with the passender front which was 24 1/2"

So the front tiens are on and the drop is the exact same. WTF

What springs did you have before again? Tein's springs are suppose to give you a 1.2"F/1.3"R.

maybe you have to give it some time to settle. Thats what happened when I installed my H&R lowering springs. I also heard that the lowering springs for the accord will drop your TL lower than springs meant for a TL. So maybe thats why your Eibachs and Teins sit the same.

ehh if you cut the right coils it wont be an issue. Thats why I said inactive coils here is my info

Do the math-

11,250,000 times the wire diameter to the 4th power divided by 8 times the active number of turns times the mean diameter cubed.

11,250,000 x (.610 x .610 x .610 x .610) / 8 x 8 active turns x (4.485 x 4.485 x 4.485) = 269 lbs.

Double check the math - 16.145 - 10.5 = 5.645 deflection. 1,519/5.645 = 269

Now if we cut say 1/2 turn off this spring the active turns become 7.5.

So 11,250,000 x (.610 x .610 x .610 x .610) / 8 x 7.5 x (4.485 x 4.485 x 4.485) = 287 lbs.

While the rate is increased the load is unchanged. Rate is the amount of weight required to deflect the spring one-inch while load is the amount of weight the spring will support at a given height.

Cutting coils is limited to those types which have tangential ends. Tangential ends are those which spiral off into space. If you tried to stand the spring on end it would fall over.

Square ends and pigtail ends, both will stand up, and can not be cut because the finished product will not mount correctly in the suspension.

Not sure what any of that means. just found it on a site

Not sure about the bearing, but I recently had both my front cv axles done for $350 at accuracy auto. The dealer was going to charge me $700. PM me if you want the number.

Ok so I cant notice it but I definatly noticed that it was lower because when i pulled up to my gym last night I always try to take the same spot and there is a slight incline pulling into the spot. I never had an issue on stock rims and then last night turning left into the spot my tire said whats up to my fender and pulled the lip out under the fender.

Im pretty pissed about that because when i had my rims that shit used to piss me off and I had to push the lip back in and now i can see imperfections in my fender from gettig pulled out by the tire and pushed in by me.

BTW im doing the back on monday with my boy at his parents house in College Park. Not asking for help but if you wanna roll by and say whats up please do.

NP Eric. Let me know the address. BTW have you been checking out the The Ultimate Cooling Mod thread, but they mention about the "popped hood" making a difference. Do you still have the popped hood? Have you been having heat soak issues?

Hey fellas. Don't know if this is something y'all would be interested in but there is a large meet going on in Raleigh on Sept 12 with all the local tuners from this area. Myself and a few other AZ members will be attending and are doing a "Mini-Meet" of our own earlier in the day. Only downfall is the meet doesn't start until 9pm so I know it might be a stretch for you guys being so late, but just thought I'd throw it out there. They had about 100 cars last month. Even Eric aka (ACCURATEin) showed up. There is plenty of hotels near the meet so if you guys did decide to come I can let you know where they are. Also this is a "invite only" meet for the local car forum which I am a member, so I just need to know how many guest I have to put on my list. Should be a good time, so if any of you want to go just let me know.

peeps, saw an ASM downtown this morning with a Ron Jon body kit...and stock wheels. First one I'd seen in person. Just wondering if anyone knew who that was.

I'm way busy getting ready to move the family up. Got my replacement pre-cat deletes and have no idea when I'll get them back on. oh, and I need a brake job. Oh, and my tint is still jacked...

speaking of tint, my buddy just got his G tinted and he told me legal is 35%! damn, I think I have 28% all around now and if I get it replaced I was hoping to go a little darker. Are they hard-ons about tint around here? I'm gonna have an outta state plate the whole time too, which I know can become a target. 35% isn't even worth it for me.

I have had 35% on mine and only been questioned about it during a speeding ticket. The meter said 17% but i was like bullshit (in my head) he gave me a warning but other than that it should be fine.

My 35% is faded as hell so my next job is 20% all around to match my shiny black wheels

But FYI VA legal tint is 50% front and 35% rear.
