Talked to Aaron and told him about this. Not really sure where BWW in Suffolk started but since i've lived in Hampton Roads for 23 years and NEVER actually stopped in Suffolk...i figure Adrian's going away will suffice.

Meet there at 3:33PM. Anyone near Indian River Road we can caravan leaving at 3:15ish

I just searched for this; here is the address:

Buffalo Wild Wings
7386 Harbour Town Pkwy
Ste 67
Suffolk, VA 23435

Apparently it's been there since last summer. I say 4 pm is a good time since some mention they are getting off work by then.

Hey everyone... I'm a rook' here (I know I know, this is my first post...) but thought I'd hit up the locals first and foremost. Got my Type-S just over a year ago now, and its time to start improving. First was the brakes (full stoptech setup from XLR8 - amazing service there, super easy install) and next is the exhaust... If anyone is trying to set up a meet sometime soon I'd love to get in on it, and especially if someone has done an XLR8/RV6/or ATLP catback/J-pipe on their own machine definitely get back at me.

Cheers.

(PS - honk if you see my MRP beauty out there...)

Welcome!

MRP looks great on the Type S, its one of my favorite colors on the 3G, and Im generally not a fan of red.

Williamsburg Cars and Coffee is this weekend, Im not sure how many people from here plan on going though.

Yeah, that is a option, but lucky for me, if I go with them, they can just take the side skirt off and either sand it down and shoot it and I can still keep my car. PLUS, I am stationed out at Oceana, so that can work out well...Thanks for the suggestion...

Well its time to put my aftermarket wheels on since winter is over. Just wondering what type of tires do you guys use. Is it summer tires or all season? I have been getting all season but it really doesn't snow here often. LOL

Thanks Civicdrivr, unfortunately I have been out of town... and will be like every weekend for the next month or so.

I did just get my v3 J-pipe from RV6 in this weekend - hopefully put it on one night this week. Also pulled the trigger and threw down for the 2nd batch of his dual cat-back system... can't wait.

I know someone else mentioned stock or modified bodyworks. I highly recommend them also. I know it's not in the area you said but it would be worth it. Ask for Joey when you go there and tell him Greg Jr sent you, I'm sure he will hook you up. He has my front bumper for my cl with a custom molded tl lip and my grill there getting painted.

Nope it's completely stock, but if someone has a friend that they regularly go to then I'd rather give them my $16 than some random garage.

I use the Conti DWS. I just recently got them installed only about 6,000mi ago so they are relatively new. I am loving them so far. I went with these mostly because it doesn't snow much but I dont want summer tires because of the rain and then the sometimes snow/cold streets.

I run summer tires for 9-10 months of the year. Im currently running Hankook Ventus V12s but they are down to the wear bars. Ive put about 30k of aggressive driving on them, which IMO is pretty good. They have great grip too, but once you hit the wear bars dont even think about driving in the rain.

Ive also run S.Drives in the past (great for the money) and Kumho Ecsta SPTs (stay far far away from them).

My brother has the Continental DWS' and loves them. Theyre an all season, and they tend to have a soft sidewall (something I dont like).

Im getting ready to buy new tires and have it narrowed down to the Continental DW (the summer version of the DWS) and the BF Goodrich g-force Sport Comp2s. The Contis are about 4lbs lighter per corner though, so Im leaning towards them.

Summer tires are pretty good in the rain (actually better then most all seasons that Ive driven on). But I definitely agree with cold streets. If its ~55* or colder out, you wont get any grip. But once it gets down to the high 40s/low 50s, I put the winter setup on (3G TL 5-spokes with General Altimax snow tires).

The continental dws are bad ass, discount tire has the best prices. They ride so nice and have great traction on wet and dry pavement. I have 235/45-18's on my 08 tls. I bought a set of black chrome 18x8 a specs for my 03 cls today and I'm also contemplating whether I should go with the dws or dw for that car. I'm leaning towards trying out the dw but I hope the ride won't be much harder and I don't want tire noise since that's more of a performance tire.

I actually got mine from tirebuyer.com. Never heard of it til I went to order these but they were the lowest prices I found after the free shipping they offer. I paid $598 for all 4 shipped to my door. (they were sold out everywhere else) I got them in 255/40/17 and I received them 2 days after I completed the transaction.

The Conti DWS's are definitely a good one... my girlfriend has run them on her Si for about a year now and we both have nothing but good to say about them. I'll probably go that route when the stock Michelins go bad on my TLS

I was there. Where the f$%& was everyone else?

As for the DWS, I love em. Adrian hated his. For an All year solution they seem to be just about the best out there. They do everything well and nothing awesome. My favorite summer tires were my old BFG G-force Sports (same EXACT tread pattern as the new comp - 2's.) They were relativley inexpensive, good enough in the rain and unless it was in the 40's they gripped well. Haven't ever used true SUMMER tires but with our weather here (and the fact i can't afford 2 sets of rims yet) I don't need enough out of my tires to need them.
