I'm in the Aragona area of VA Beach. Anyone know how much it's gonna cost to change out a knock sensor? I wanna do the work myself, but I don't even know where that sensor is located.

 

Its in the valley of the block, under the intake manifold and runners.



Its number 10 in that pic. Its probably 2-3 hours worth of work if youre familiar with pulling off the manifold.

No I haven't checked it out, its miles from DC so it'll be cool to check it out in a group or maybe not. Didn't think so bad about 757, I dont chillax around there.

Longtime no see fellas, I haven't been on this section of the forums in a year or two! Shame on me... Any ways I've been really busy with school and what not but I think the time has come for me to get my Function/Form coilovers off of my TL (and replace my stock suspension)... Anybody have any recomendations as to where to take my car to get them taken off for a decent price? The place I got them put on is really trying to rip me off and I don't appreciate it so I'm not going to go back there. I live in Richmond by the way... Or if anybody has a friend or could take them off themselves I'm willing to throw some bones out to whoever could help me out here. (I'm still in college and not working with a whole lot of $$ haha) If anybody can help that'd be awesome. Otherwise hope everybody in the VA area is doin well! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!

Jokerman, yeah man. Most of everybody moved on. Eric (RonJon) was down for a min, but his car is back on the road as of yesterday. I'm leaving for my deployment in Mar, so I will be gone also.
