Not a new member to AcuraZine but I recently moved out to the HR area (August '10). I also just traded in my '99 TL for an '08 TL WDP. I don't plan on modding the TL much at all beyond a few cosmetic/suspension items. I just ordered some LEDs for the interior and a rubber trunk mat. Looking into changing up some of the exterior lights soon as well.

Are there any upcoming regional meets in the area or even up around the DC metro?

We can do it this sunday (weather permitting of course) But, i'll be more than glad to set it up another time where more people could come. it doesn't HAVE to be on a sunday (since i know a lot of people like to relax and/or watch football and spend time with family, etc) it can be arranged some other day but weekends are what people are down for. This sunday? I know adrian's gonna be gone so i'd like to show him and what not. but let me know. it's already wednesday/thursday so if it's going down, were gonna have to plan quick. and if you live on the other side of the tunnel, then i wouldn't suggest you come since you're gonna be back tracking? lol but we can all meet up at a central location like freedom or somewhere around norfolk like harbor park and such. but let me know guys. plus it gives me a reason to use my new camera!

Well for this Sunday, it would probably few of us. We could meet at the town center area in Newport News off of Mercury blvd, then go from there. The parking lot is huge, but we could grab a bit before we roll.

there's no point in meeting there. the back road to the ferry is going through 664/suffolk. so i figure the freedom car wash in chespeake would be a good meeting point since we hav eto go towards 664 anyways.

I've got some other people that are wanting to go. so we might have to meet at freedom off independance since it's more a central location. either way,we'll take 264 to 664 or 64 to 664. but we might have a lot of people actually coming. like, 10-15 depenging on who shows up. i wsas thinking maybe like, 330-4? possiblhy get the sunset in pictures and stuff?

Yeah. you should be able to. we'll leave around 330-415 ish. alreayd coordinating with a few other friends that want to go. so 330-415 should be a decent time to leave and possibly catch the sunset or what not.

Yep I already had Steve do mines 2 months ago. I'm good for awhile. It only took him about 2.5 hours. I recommend Steve if you need any work done for your honda/acura.

this sunday around 330-415 ish at freedom wash off independence is the location and time for the cruise. from there we'll head towards the ferry going the BACK/LOCAL way and THEN taking the 64 interstate back home.

^ Yep. that's correct. I'll probably be there early and i'll be in the huge parking lot behind it. Either way, my car will be seen.

So in case people forgot,

Today, between 3:30 - 4:15 meet at freedom car wash off independence blvd behind the WAWA. From there we're gonna go to the ferry cruise.

People can reference the map if they do'nt know where it is. we're gonna leave by 4:15 SHARP because i don't want it to be dark when we get there.

so like just seeing who's interested in doing a mini meet in raleigh? just posted in the NC thread but thought i'd figure to ask here as well. it's about 2-3 hours (i'm assuming, haven't looked it up yet) and is also a 2 hour drive for my buddies who are in wilmington. just seeing who would be interested.

Wow!
I would really like to do this ferry cruise, but I'm in PA. If we could schedule something in the Spring/Summer timeframe, I think we could get a pretty large crowd. How many cars does the ferry hold per trip? How long is the round trip?
This could be a very cool day trip.

If i'm here yeah, sure. It's a pretty good ride. I mean, if you guys from PA want to come down, sure. lol. it depends on which ferry they bring out and which one we get to drive on. it averages between 50-150 cars. the bigger one i believe can do the larger number but i've never actually counted. the drive isn't too bad. like a hour round trip no including pit stops or pictures and etc.

Code 325

Anyone know of a reliable shop for Acura's in the area? My 2003 CLs has the check engine light on and the code reader from Autozone detected a code 325(knock sensor). I don't even know where that knock sensor is located.

Thanks,
Brando

You're using 91 octane or better, right? Where are you getting your gas? Im not from the 757 so I can't point you to any reputable shops. Im sure someone else here can though.
