Really trying to see who the KBP TL-S is that I see at ECPI NN all the time...Sharp car...Last week it was parked in front of me in the parking lot and looked to have had all the lights blacked out and possibly and aftermarket catback...
Have seen 2 TL-S's on Ft.Monroe as well...A red one and a NBP...Seems alot of people are snatching them up since alot of leases have expired...

whats a good spot in va beach/norfolk area to buy tires? Im looking for 245/35 ZR 19. I was gonna go kramer to get two Instinct's for $424 but is there a preferred tire brand that you guys rather go with? I got continentals on my other acura there fine just looking for other opinons.

Tires are typically at your house within 2 days and none of the local tire places can match them...
What's up fellas.....back from the desert!!!
Well I see a few new and old faces on here! Glad to see you guys are still alive and kickin....
It's great to be back to drive my car again, but had a couple of issues and incidents since I've been back.
First of all, my parents had my car down in SC while I was in Afghany. My dad told me that the check engine light started coming one day. He also said it was sounding alittle rough at start up. Didn't really worry about it; I would just get the code read when I got back. Turns out that I had a crack on my front PCD, and it was killing my O2 sensors....
No wonder the car was sounding like sh*t!!! But it was still drivable till I made it back here in VA.
Second of all, I am a member of the infamous "cracking dash". Before I left it was getting pretty bad. Now my dash looks like it is falling apart!
Once I get my new PCD's in; I'm taking it the local dealer and raise hell about it.
And lastly, I had an accident in my car while I was in Fayetteville, NC. It happen on a bad rainy morning. I was merging on a highway I guess I accelerated alittle too much, or my tires are balder than I thought. I start hydroplaning and couldn't regain control. I pressed the brakes thinking my ABS would kick in, but no such luck. I ended up hitting the small ditch on the side of the road and got stuck in the mud. Thank God I didn't hit any other cars, and they were pretty close. I had to get pulled out buy a dude that stopped to help. No major damages; just cosmetic stuff. My car looked like I went mudding though.
Needless to say, my car isn't 100% right now. Hopefully it will be back in shape in a couple of weeks. Don't know about the dash, but it will get fixed regardless. Not the way I wanted to experience my home coming though...
What's up Lee! I see you big ballin! Pimp that thing out so you can bring it out to play.
I frequent Tirerack, cause they ship it to a local recommended shop for mounting and balancing. My problem is I only have a small selection of places, cause my car is so low. I usually roll on Pirelli's, but thinking of change up. Might do Michelin or something better.

Michelin unless you do Pilot Sports, wouldn't be my advice. Michelins are softer than i like on the sidewalls and didn't hold up to agressive driving. I think i'm going to get Conti's next. My dad has them on his Cooper S on 18" BBS and he LOVES them. My brother has them on his 330i and my mom on her 530i on //M rims. No complaints. All daily driven.

As far as the C&C; I'll get back with you....
Holy shit he's back!
Adrian. I'm glad you made it home safely.
Sorry to hear about your troubles with your car. As for the dash, the issue has pretty much gotten national attention because one guy in ATL called his local news station about it and they did a feature. Here's the video/page:

There's a number at the bottom that you should call about the issue. I believe it's Acura corporate but a lot of people have been blown off by them just saying get a quote from your dealership and blah blah. Good luck man.

The old heads are showing up now...and the weather is nice. I wouldn't mind a good reason *cough* AZ Meet *cough* to drive down to Hampton Roads area again.

I have always had good luck out of Nittos...My mustang was sponsored by Nitto and was the test mule for the Nitto NT05's...When the tires wear out on the TLS I will be putting NT05's or a tire of the like on it...
well I was only going to get rid of the parts that were waiting to be put on the car after the disaster, but I just never got around to it.
Im getting ready to either pull the block and check for any cracks because my head gaskets look fine to me OR just put new head gaskets on and put the motor back together. Im still not sure what I wanna do but i really miss driving the TL. Its been OOC for 6 months now
