BTW, I met a local guy in Va Beach yesterday. He drives a 08 Black TL-S with Black Ron Jon Inspyres. His car is niiiicccee! He's on the forum, but I forgot his screen name. His name is Chis. I told him about this thread though. Hope to see him around.

 

I am still wondering if the 2 guys I told about the site are going to sign up. I saw them about 2 weeks ago. Both had 3rd gen TL's (not Type S) with aftermarket rims. One of them seemed real interested but still not on here from what I can see.

 

Hey you guys better check to make sure that Acurazine is not a Trademark, and that the logo is not copyrighted!

 

It's funny that you say that b/c I just saw a 3G TL-S with RJs the other day and waved to him...I wasn't able to chat since we were driving. Wonder if it's the same guy. He should come out the show, his car looked good.

 

I think Mike talked to one of the mods about that already. I think he got the go ahead from them, not 100% though.

The logos for AcurazineVA and Team AcurazineVA motorsports are logos that I designed and techncally copyright protection falls under me for those specific designs. The mods stated that we are clear to do whatever we want with "our" logo and our "team" as long as I don't violate forum rules and try to act as a vendor. That means that I can bring gear to meets, but I am not allowed to give you links to access the gear directly on line through the forums (such as in my signature line or in posts.)
I was cautioned not to use the Acurazine logo (at the top of each forum page) in any way. (which I feel is fair) Due to the demand that seems to be out there, I did offer to produce their gear with their logo for them and donate the profits to charity, but they weren't interested.
So, to sum it up: AcurazineVA gear or Team AcurazineVA Motorsports gear=good. Straight up Acurazine gear=bad.

No, I met chrissix before. Chrissix has the dark gray 04-05 TL. This guy was oriental and had the Type-S. He said he works alot, but will try to make the show.

 

Yep...I think it was the same guy then. I saw him on Va Beach Blvd in front of Hall Honda right near the Rosemont intersection. I'm gonna head over the 3G forums and post to see if I can get his attention.

 

I saw this really nice, Blue CL-S today (I couldn't catch him cuz I was on my Mtn Bike). I wonder why we dont have a big representation of CLs????

Just picked up my car this evening..
CAI+TB spacer+unorthodox sc crank pulley+TeinSS w/edfc+progress rear sway bar= one sweet ride!!!
I didn't have as much time to play tonight as I wanted to, but I was kind enough to let the old lady have the wheel for a while.. all she could do was say WOW! and OMG!! over and over again!
I pretty much had to wrestle my keys away from her after that.
I can't wait to get the ATLP jpipe and catback exhaust on there! HURRY UP ATLP!!!

-JL 10w6 in slot ported enclosure and custom panel (false wall) to hide it
-JL 12w6 (no enclosure)

I was wondering the same thing, but it does seem to be growing ever so slightly. There is 2 of them on here now that I can recall, B. Coop and AJ's Silver CL, but that is all.

i saw a sliver gen 3 type-S roll up to me yesterday on Indian River, with rims and I think an A-spec kit... he road up next to me and I honked the horn, but he never looked at me, he rev'd his engine at me alittle, but thats it. I slowed down and pulled over but he just rolled by....oh well!
