yo fellas since there is a furlough going on (I'm at home now) we need to have a last meet (1st for me this year) before it gets too cold and I take off my wheels. Anybody up for a meet this weekend?

 

There is meet in MD Oct 6th, this weekend. Couple guys going, km making drive up.Sunday morning if wanna meet up & ride there together kinda deal

 

gonna be wet all weekend..if it dries up or if anyone wants to meet..lmk...I think we should meet before the weather gets much much cooler.

 

I work most weekends but I'm down for small, local get together before winter scares ppl inside more so. Later part of night be best for me, if weekend.

hey guys. just picked up an 04 tsx for the wife! already have parts on the way. hahahah

haha it's nothing too big. Her VW was falling apart so we sold it for pretty cheap and got my sister to sell her tsx to me for cheapo. has 140K on it; bone stock. i know these motors can last forever. lol.

so far i ordered yellow fogs, clear/blackhoused headlights and the euro-R grill. (the headlights are broken/fogged and the grill is broken; sister backed up into it) and the yellow fogs were what she wanted. Still looking for a bumper and a lip (hopefully they still have/make/sell the A-spec lip) and possibly some springs. Hopefully springs for a TL will fit it.

but i'll be picking it up this weekend in FL and bringing it back. hopefully i can have all the parts installed and then get it detailed.

In other news car is inspected.

2 of 3 motor mounts are DED.

So the wife authorized Excelerate Poly Engine mounts (62A) & DC Sport Headers. Since the exhaust has to come out for the motor mounts to go in, well. Guess we better replace them...

Also finally putting on front sway bar, seeing as exhaust needs to be removed for that as well.

 

yeah. hope so. the headlights won't be here for like a week cause the douche shipped it out too late and won't get em until monday and from monday, my sister will have to ship it back up to me. oh well. looks like i'll be ordering some springs for the car. anyone know if the Tein S-techs will eliminate the wheel gap?

Yeah i figured. Probably just order some off ebay or something.

 

Awwww kind of miss those performance modding. Only thing I'm doing nowadays is cosmetics.....lol!

 

yeah. she doesn't want any performance. maybe an intake but that's it. lol

It's all good Morgan. The mounts have been on the way out for about a year and a half now. The headers and front sway will be a nice change.

And yes Casie and I tied the knot three weeks ago.

So apparently my coils aren't being shipped out until monday from Megan Racing even after I was told that it would ship out Monday (the 4th; the day I ordered it) but got off the phone with the dealer and said they are waiting on a part of complete the suspension. I'm a little irritated at it but whatever. Guess i'll wait to lower the car. still have the headlights and the oem window visors coming in this week and picking up some spacers.

i think we're trying to get a local acurazine/accord meet going on but not a lot of people want to attend. i'd say possibly meet in richmond since it's close to nova and hampton roads. but i'm always open to meet up with some people on the weekend.
