I just ran into lee today at the dealership and he told me about his Thread. I got a 05 SSM 6mt w/navi I did have the RonJon body kit but I sold that earlier this year. Im in virginia beach off of Indian River Rd. Just checkin in with everyone when is the next meet or anything like that.

What's up guys? I've been a stranger for a while now. I've had a lot going on but I should be able to get back to AZ soon. I just finished my BS a couple weeks ago (FINALLY!), got engaged, made First (I'm in the military) and am working on buying a house. We are actually closing on the house on Monday.

I also agree with last 5 posts!! We have not met up for a month and a half now!! Having withdrawals here! The 9th, 10th, 23rd and 24th of August are good for me.

Hey man.. good to hear from you. I have been insanely busy lately too so I haven't been checking in as much. Thats cool how many of us are located right off of Indian River in VA Beach.
Don't sweat it about the shirt. Its here in safe keeping until you are ready. Also, I printed extras of different sizes before the memorial day meet. If anyone is interested just let me know and I will bring them to the next meet.
As for the next meet.. I am game for the 23rd. I know you guys wanted to do the peninsula this time, but if you change your mind and do All Around Pizza in Va Beach (across from Hall Acura) They offered to cut us a deal on the food. And the crew from Hall got a real kick out of checking out our cars.
BTW.. speaking of the crew from Hall Acura - I am sure you guys remember my boy Chris the salesman. Here is a little vid that he shared with me. He decided to show off his RSX a little.. Apparently this is what he does when he is bored at the dealership. lol

I'll give you a call this weekend Mike. Speaking of your friend at Hall, I stopped in for some parts the other day and talked to him for a bit. We're gonna head over this weekend and test drive an RDX. We've been trying to decide if we want an RDX, CRV, Murano or Saturn Vue. We test drove the Vue already and it may very well be the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever driven. It's nice, but uncomfortable. Anyhow, I'm good for the 23rd and I'll make sure I don't make any plans.

BTW, thanks Dave. It was quite a surprise to me.

Sounds good with the response already. I am just going to see how much more interest there is for that date and go from there. Nothing against All Around Pizza Mike, I was just trying to meet halfway for the Richmond crew, so they don't have so far to drive. Not that they mind but it helps them a bit. If the consensus is everyone wants All Around Pizza though we can change it. It doesn't bother me.

Remember guys, this is the 23rd of AUGUST, just to make sure there is no misunderstandings about it.

 

Thank's for the look out Doc. I just gt back today, andi am sure you all eard about the retrn on the radio. My friend told me it has beenall over the radio for weeks. That day sounds great, it will give me time to makesure everything is set up and good to go.

I will be picking up the TL on sunday and be back Monday night. I h ave to work on Tuesday and then it will be going in for the recalls and 45,000 mile maintenance on Wednesday.

I will be ordering my CAI later this week and have it delivered to my mom's house so I can install it and clear the headlights while I am on leave in TN.

Saturday nights is when the car show happens at Bass Pro. A lot of old nice muscle cars.

As of right now it looks like i am off on the 23rd and will be able to make it. I will be in TN, FL, and GA between th 1st and 15th.

hmmmmm i am moving to radford on the 15th.... i'll see if i can make it down on the 23rd... i cant decide what to do with my money that i have been earning over the summer... save it up for school or get some springs and shocks, its such a hard decision but i have been leanin toward some HR sports...

.... on another note... all of you that were at the PHIL-AM car show on memorial day saw my front bumper and how the paint was fallin off everywhere and the crack at the bottom , anybody have suggestions as to where to find a new front bumper? the real question is... new front bumper/paint job or drop the car and let the paint keep comin off my front bumper?

So i guess we all are using the Aug 23rd meet thread instead of this one? I had a good day yesterday. I got to clean my car for the first time in over 7 months. Also i had a chance to roll down the interstate a few times with other TL's right around me.

The other day i took my car to Hall Acura to get the recall done and the 45,000 mile maintenance. They gave me an 08 TL base as a loaner for the day. This car had a lot of lag when you needed to tak off. I could not even chirp the tires and the roads were wet from the thunderstorms. Has anyone else noticed the lag in those cars.
