i figured out something with the inspection people. When they condust inspections they will say soemthing is messed up just so that they have a chance to fix it and make more money. I am so glad that my car will never have a plate that involves any inspections.
Welcome to the group!

Don't worry about it Eric.. give me a call about your shirt order asap.. 757-636-1987

Well that was my last official meet here in VA. I will be leaving the state here on monday and would like to thank everyone for all the support and fun throughout my first two years with the TL. I will continue to read and post in both the Hampton Roads and NoVA threads while I am in Chicago. I just hope that i receive the same treatment there as i did here in VA. So again, I would like to thank each and everyone of you.
Eric, where do you go? I know this place on Chesapeake Blvd (Valeo gas station) that will pass you with no problem. I use to take my illegal Eclipse there all the time.
Man, I'm just glad that they didnt scrape my sticker first.....It has happened to the my last three cars in a row, they ALWAYS failed for something. But, I must say, it hasnt been for any BS reason (recently though). It HAS been for things that would eventually need to be done anyway. The Pink Sticker would just motivate my arse to get it done sooner rather than later. BUT, it would be a PITA cuz ya cant get on base with a pink sticker.....................
oh and dude ur TL i persoanlly cant wait to see ive heard TL's look sick when they are moded. correctly of course lol
Motor mounts aren't too bad. I've done both the side and the front ones. The front was a PITA, but the side mount was pretty easy. I've heard the back is pretty difficult but it almost never goes bad.
Damn Pennsylvania Roads! I managed to damage two tires while driving up here.. Whats worse, CARS INC didn't put the key for my wheel locks back in my car the last time they worked on it. (and didn't own up to it either..
) Now I am stuck here in PA waiting for a new key to be shipped and my tires to be ordered so I can have safe rubber to roll back on.
I am just happy that I didn't have a blow out on the highway.. I have my spare, but I would have been totally screwed without a key.

Awww Man, I did the same thing when I had my Accord...I hit a pothole on the Belt Parkway in NYC and didnt know until the next morning that I bent AND cracked a wheel....OBTW, I drove an hour upstate, through the mountains with all of the bends and twists in the road....I REALLY coulda had a blowout.
sorry to hear that mike. Low profile tires and bad roads do not mix very well. I try not to take a long trip on my 20's and put stocks on. Rather spend 16" tire money than 20" tire money. Look on the bright side mike, at least you get to spend more time in PA.

BTW.. I finally got back from PA late last night. Many thanks to Ron at RonJon for going out of his way to rush me new keys for my wheels! When the car went up on the lift we found 2 cracked RJ's
which I had to get repaired before the tires could get finished. Then after the wheels were finally repaired, the people at Firestone tried to be A$$HOLES and wanted me to pay for my second tire instead of covering it under road hazard. (they knew I was desperate to get back to VA and they thought they could get away with it.. THEY WERE WAY OFF.) His reasoning was ridiculous claiming that it was the fault of my suspension and wheels (which were obviously on the car when they sold me the protection plan and put the tires on). I snapped and told off both managers and threatened to call corporate while they began to lose customers left and right. As I started dialing the corporate number one of the managers came back and said that he "took care of it" and I didn't have to pay anything but the state tax. Aside from getting stuck in an ice storm on the way home, the rest of the trip was great. We got in pretty late, but never in my life have I ever been so glad to see my driveway!
I down!
I say we shine up our rides, bring what we can, and roll in as one kick ass, toy toting, AcurazineVA convoy!!!

SO FAR WE HAVE FOUR PEOPLE - I AM GOING TO POST THIS ON THE MEETS PAGE SO WE CAN HOPEFULLY GET A FEW MORE PEOPLE.
I SUGGEST THAT WE MEET at 11 am IN THE OLD HQ PARKING LOT (next to Office Max)
the address is:
4725 Virginia Beach Blvd
Virginia Beach, VA 23462
Fuddruckers is right up the road and we can roll over there with the toys once everyone has arrived. After we deliver the toys, we can either grab some grub at Fuddruckers or somewhere else.
As always, call my cell if you have any questions - Mike 757-636-1987

I try to avoid that area at all cost. I got a tint ticket there earlier this year off indian river exit. The boys are out right now because of the holidays.

Anyone else interested in joining us on Sunday???

If any of you guys are interested in joining us today (sunday), Hope to see you at the old HQ lot around 11am. (refer to the link in my previous post for more info)
FYI.. if anyone is traveling Baxter Rd/Kempsville/Princess Anne area, stick to the speed limit and try not to draw attention to yourself. I can smell the bacon sizzlin! Apparently the VABCH Boys in blue are looking for any excuse to stop/ticket modified cars. (Tint, exhaust, plate covers, speeding, etc.)
Be careful out there! Simple creatures like pigs are easily distracted by shiny objects such as nice rims, fresh wax, and loud stainless exhaust. Proceed with extreme caution!

Sorry it happened when it did..
I was really looking forward to meeting up with everyone. When is it a good day/time to bring you your stuff?
Been a while since I've checked this thread....sorry. I really plan to make it a point to check it more frequently. Sorry I missed the one this past weekend, hopefully I'll be around for the next one.
