Hey Mike and Adrian and whoever else might be able to help, Ive been hawkin the black market section for the past month and picked up some goodies like ATLP j-pipe, ATLP race pipe, ATLP IM gasket, e-shift pro cats, ur stock pulley and p2r tb spacer. Im not ready to install these yet due to the fact the wife is driving the car but im planning to buy a mdx in may or so. So my question is who did you guys take your cars to for the install on all u guys mods? I think I can do some myself but the crank pulley and the pro cats are above my pay grade. Thanks guys

RonJon...I've never met up with you I don't think (I haven't been able to make to many meets lately) but I can help with the install of some of those mods. I've done the crank pulley and the my entire exhaust, so those shouldn't be to hard. If you by some chance had a military ID, that would make it a lot easier so we could do it at the hobby shop on base though.
The place most of the guys have work done on their car is here though. Mike gave me this info when i was asking for some info.

CARS INC is located at:
3712 Profit Way
Chesapeake, VA 23323
Phone: 757-485-4949
Evan usually answers the phone and Dave usually works in the back

It's cool about the house thing...it worked out fine. Thanks though.
Another mod meet might work. I don't have to much room to do mods at my house but I've got tools and some knowledge (a little anyway). If you wanted to meet up one day and do some work, we could. I'm usually available on weekends now, but let me know. I'll be at the Auto Show meet this weekend, so if you're going, we can talk about it then.

Glad you made it out here man...
Diamondblues (Mike) is the one with the shirts. Just send him a PM and he'll be able to hook you up. As for detailing places, I can't help you out to much. I've always done my car myself, but it's to damn cold out for that lately. Are you going to the Superbowl Party? Here's the link if you wanna sign up.

(Sorry, forgot to add this to my previous message.)
For detailing, CarSpa at the corner of Lynnhaven and Holland Rd in Va Beach does a decent job but you have to check after them to make sure they didn't miss anything. Sometimes you can print coupons from their website depending on what you want done.
Here is a link to their site if you want to look for coupons:

I was thinking about planning a mod meet in early March. By then the weather should be a bit more cooperative. Any volunteers/ideas for locations.

I do have a deal lined up with a shop in chesapeake to do a discount dyno day meet for us on a different day. We can do that when the weather gets really nice because we need to get a decent number of cars to participate.

Of course, I still want to do a "track day" meet too but I haven't been able to work out any of those details yet. Maybe just bring our cars out to "Street Wars" up in Richmond Dragway one night and run them. If anybody has any connections with tracks let me know.

Don't forget, we have the Superballin' Superbowl Blowout Meet coming up soon.. here is a link for more details and the list to sign up if you can join us for that:

As for the side mirrors.. I thought I saw some up for sale on the azine black market section last week. You may want to look through it and check.

Hope you find them!

Im down with the MOD party cuz I have a gang of parts that I would eventually like to put on. I think a base would be the ideal place to get that started. I know a handful of us can get on a base but I know there are prob some that cant.

Mike you talking about DTP for a dyno?? If so, those guys are cool as hell!! I brought my GSR to them a few years back.

Actually it was Keenan at All Aspect Racing. Good shop, very professional work and demeanor. (goes a long way in my book) I will have a lot more details to share about "dyno day" as we get closer to the date.

BTW.. you are safe for your trip in March.. My anniversary is on the 22nd so I definitely won't be planning any meets for then. If I did, my wife would be like

Hey man, I didn't check this thread yesterday...
But, the only way that you can get the code is from the S/N off the radio (sometimes the dealer can do it with the VIN I think). If it's not written down someplace inside the glove box (maybe a sticker somewhere) or written in your owners manual, you may have to pull it out to get the S/N and call the dealer. Hope that helps.

If u are referring to an acura dealer there is only one Crown.
If u are going for service they are great to deal with , to buy a car there sales department sucks.

Thats cool you will be able to make the MOD party as far as location the base would be the best possible place cuz things are always smoother with a lift. Secondly I guess the person with the biggest garage and a sweet set of tools.

Hey Mike we should get a list started when we iron out the dates so that people have a heads up on who is going and what mods people have. That way if someone has something that they have done it will be easier to complete.

Im not the snazzist around motors but I can get a job done and it usually takes some time and i might have a few leftover parts I CANT WAIT TO WORK ON EVERYONES CARS

Here is my info to add later:
* RonjonTL757- UR Crank Pully (stock sized/have belt), e-shift procats, ATLP j-pipe & Test pipe, ATLP IM gaskets.

Man I feel like thats too much and asking help for too much but we'll see.

The J-pipe will go a lot smoother with air tools, Took me forever to break that bitch loose. Im down especially if there is a lift involved, But what ever...

Definitely in for a mod meet! If I am off that is. Anyway, I will keep checking for the date and location. Actually just can't wait to get together with everyone again!

BTW, anyone going to the East Coast Honda Meet (Richmond) this year? I am actually off that weekend (shocked) so I plan on going. I think it is on May 30th. https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-clubs-meets-15/east-coast-honda-meet-706573/

Question: Can contractors and non-base affiliated people get into the Auto Hobby Shop? I KNOW that they cant use the facilities. But, I would be cool with helping someone work on their car that COULD use it.....

Whatever happened to TLBadboy96??? He posted this back in September.

I know using the tools on base can really help, but for those who are non-military, the security and base/hobby shop access issues may be a bit much to deal with. I would volunteer my place, but I have no tools, and I haven't seen the floor of my little garage since I moved in.. lol

BTW.. I know the East Coast Honda Meet is in late May, but don't forget the Memorial Day Car Show on May 25th. (pretty sure that's memorial day this year) AcurazineVA took home two trophies last year, one for best team and one for Faiz! -come to think of it.. where is Faiz??? Come out.. come out where ever you are!!!!

I can check with them. Which base still has the best shop? I know NOB and Oceana have one but I have never been there. I think little creek closed down a while ago unless they opened it back up.

Thanks for checking. If I remember correctly there is some rule about who the vehicle being worked on is registered to. I have only been there once (as a guest) - I think it was at N.O.B. like 8 years ago.
