About the Jillians thing...the richmond-photoshoot-gokart meet took care of that, i think go karts is a better idea than old ass arcade games.

 

anybody work for FedEx? I bought some lowering springs from a member on another forum last week and Fedex try delivering my package last friday but I was at work so they left a note. I called them and asked if I could pick it up and they told me they will try again on Tuesday (Oct.21) and if I'm not there then I can pick it up on Wednesday. So I track the package Wednesday morning and Fedex said it was "left at my front door at 6:56pm." I was home in my living room around that time and no Fedex truck pulls up, no knock on my door, nothing. So I call them and they tell me they are getting in contact with the driver to see if he left it at a wrong address and they will get in contact with me in 3 days. Has anybody had this issue before and whats the odds of me getting my package?

 

That driver should be fired! They shouldn't leave it without a signature! Sorry about your troubles man!

 

I remember before, if you wasn't home they would leave a message on your door telling you that they came by. I have had a few times in the past couple of years where they have just left the package at the front door. I think it is pretty f*cked up but that is the way i have seen it done recently.

 

It depends on the shipping method and whether or not you have a "signature on file" with fed ex. Some drivers are better than others.
I have had the same thing happen to me before and my shipment was in package limbo for a couple of days until it mysteriously showed up on my doorstep. Just stay on top of Fed ex and stay on top of the person who shipped it until you get it.
Oh yeah.. Hope it works out man!

 

For the Richmond meet.. Anyone interested in me bringing my 1100 watts/channel DJ amplifier and dual disc cd player with BBE processer. Mixer interface, with additional laptop source. Speakers are 2 MTX Dual 15" Sub per enclosure with high power horn for mids/highs. I figured that it might help to make the day a little more fun, but I am not sure how to get it all to Richmond. Any suggestions?

Thanks fellas. I hope that my package shows up and I will be keeping in touch with them. They left a note the first day and I called and said I will pick it up and they told me that they will try to deliver it again (even though I told them I wasnt going to be home) and they will bring it back to the terminal if I wasnt there. So the driver decides to "leave it" but he really didnt because I was home when it was supposidely delivered.

I think they are both Hanes.. I know for a fact the Hoodies are Hanes Heavy Duty, but the tees/long sleeve tees may be Hanes or Gildan (not sure).

Yeah, I've been MIA for the longest time, at least it feels like it. Must have been almost a year by now...j/k. I think it's only been about a month or so. I'm still in FL for training. I'll be back home the weekend before Turkey Day.

I was bored one weekend so I spent about 2 hours checking out the 09 TL. It drives decent and has some sweet functions with the Tech Package. Other than that, not much good I can say about. I agree with everyone else, the exterior is terrible. It even seems like the rear wheel well has felt or something like that in it. Doesn't seem like it would stay clean. Not sure if I like the electronic power steering or not, I don't know enough about it. I also felt very enclosed in the drivers seat. I'm not claustrophobic or anything, it just felt a lot more enclosed than the 2G and 3G. K...enough about that.

Not much new here. Was having some problems with my NAV on the trip down to FL. Ended up pulling out the center console and gauge cluster and found a loose connection back there. In all honesty, I was surprised that it has worked up to this point. I installed the Nav about 4 years ago, and to me, that connection should have never worked. Washed, clay bared and waxed her this past weekend...came out pretty damn good. I've actually had 2 people offer to buy my car since I've been down here. I'm not interested, but I was surprised. They were offering $8500 and $10,000...pretty good considering I have 122k miles on it.

Sorry for the long post, just trying to catch up....I'd be surprised if most people made it this far!

I just checked with my wife to be sure. The T-shirts and long sleeve tees are both high end Gildan 100% cotton. The hoodies are Hanes "Heavy Duty".

Can anyone tell me what a loose suspension rattle in the front end might be? Control arm or tie rod end maybe? I hear something loose in the front end every time I hit even a small irregularity in the road. I have already jacked it up and checked for play by trying to wiggle the wheels side2side and top2bottom. I found no play. I am hoping that the warranty will be honored even though I am lowered with aftermarket rims (time for inspection too).

It's cool man... Yeah, I was thinking about heading out to a meet that the have in Jax and mapquest said it's like 6 hours away. I just don't feel like driving that far. I'll catch up with you guys once I get back in VA, as long as I am not deploying right away. I'm going back on sea duty now, so I'll be going on deployments pretty frequently for the next few years.

Sorry to hear that; I don't have to worry about deployments or anything for any year. It would have been nice it we both had our cars at the Jax meet next Sat for a change of pace. Like you; driving far is not my cup of tea.
