So here's some updated pics, we had to switch vanities due to the location of the plumbing, so we also bought a different medicine cabinet to try and match the new vanity, but we didn't like the look of it. It was supposed to be the same color as the new vanity but it didn't match, so we ended up going back and buying the original medicine cabinet that I had just returned and having that installed instead. We're both a lot happier with the look and the match of this medicine cabinet with this vanity so I'm glad that we got it done while the guy was still here. He ended up having to patch up some holes on the wall, so he will be back Thursday to finish, but all in all we're very happy with the end result and really glad that we finally got the bathroom done. He will be coming back in September to start on the other bathroom

when me and my lady lose our drawers...good things tend to happen.
yeah no doubt, man...on the positive note though, no drawers means less bullshit to stuff in there and forget about. That's how you end up with 5 neosporin tubes and bandaids that are so old they don't stick.

True, that's what I told my girl, I barely used the drawers in the old vanity, just get some drawer/organizer things and we're good to go. Probably looking to sell this house in a year or so so who cares

I redid the entire bathroom and you're nitpicking the old ass door?
Not sure what I want to do with the doors yet, we did the darker wood in part to match the door frames and doors. The guy who did our install stained the trim but didn't want to stain it any darker, haven't decided if I want to mess with painting the trim or leave it be.

I do have 2 brand new doors to replace the one in the basement and leading into the garage, not sure I want to get into messing with the main floor doors or not

After living alone for 7 years it's definitely an adjustment to not poop with the door open. She's already been introduced to the dogs coming in to hang out while you're on the can

So GF's furniture moving in is well underway, this means that my house is turned upside-down right now, but I've been rearranging rooms and shuffling furniture around which is kind of fun because it's giving different rooms a different look. One of the big projects is rearranging the garage and basement, I am working on getting things moved around so that I can store all of my brewing supplies in my laundry room and clear out the pile of stuff in my man-cave which has become a storage area. Also moved my Whiskey cabinet downstairs and made room for the bar that is still sitting in the box. I'll have a man-cave again one day dammit! Probably right around the time I list the house for sale
