update did allot of little things. They still need a save during endurance races for me to progress any further. No way in hell I'm leaving my ps3 on pause like it's a NES.

So...I'd like to share with you all my current rage. I'm seriously...pissed.
Anyhow...I finally earned $10M and excitedly bought the Ferrari F1 cart. And to my horror, it is only allowed to race in ONE series...and that is in the Seasonal Ferrari race. Just one. I cannot bring the cart into any of the A or B-Spec stuff.
I am PISSED. And the freaking thing is, I can't even sell the cart...! I only have the option of "dropping" it from my garage.

yeah, I had the exact same feelings when I got my first Ferrari F1 cart. only difference is, I didn't have to pay for it... . I felt like saying something about it when you said you wanted to get one, but I figured you could use the car in Arcade more or whatnot so I was like eh, let the guy get his car and didn't want to discourage you.
Too late. But, let my post be a warning for anyone who's buying the Ferrari cart for their Career mode...cuz, well...you can't use it.

but I have to say, you didn't seem like the kind of person who would want to enter a F1 car in a race with regular cars..

Well there is a f1 race in career mode. It's just gt f1 only. Also the wonderful prise is a standard caterham fireblade. I think I already have two of those.

Anyhow...Back go grinding when I've cooled down enough.
<---- Still very sore about spending $10M for a vehicle that can't be used.

^ It's all good Miz. I'm just frustrated on why the makers of the game would have available the iconic Ferrari cart and then not allow you to drive it except for in ONE race series.
And to think of what I could've bought with $10M instead: an Enzo, the 787, and even the Polyphony GT cart...

Cousin Rivalry: Acura CL Type-S Vs Accord V6
While we find it pointless to argue which car is the better car based on stats, Jashiga and I decided to put the 2003 Honda Accord V6 and the 2003 Acura CL Type-S head to head through various challenges. The Accord puts out 244hp with it’s 3.0 liter V6 engine where as the more powerful CL Type-S boasts 265hp with it’s 3.2 liter V6 engine. While these figures may give the CL Type-S an upper hand, it’s weight of 1563 kg doesn’t. The Accord being 82 kg lighter (1481 kg) helps utilize it’s 244hp as much as possible. For our challenge, we kept these two cars completely stock, even with comfort tires! The only thing done was an oil change and chassis refreshment.
From a 0 to 80mph sprint, the Accord takes the lead because of it’s lighter weight. The Accord’s gear ratio is also much shorter than the CL Type-S, each gears fall short of almost 7mph compared to it’s Acura cousin, helping it accelerate faster. However, when we tested these two from a 40mph roll, the CL Type-S was dead even with the Accord and once 110mph rolled by, the CL Type-S was nearly a car length ahead thanks to its .2 liter and 11hp advantage.
We tested the handling of these two cars at our Tuscana Tarmac test track, a 4mile twisty road. The Acura CL Type-S performed surprisingly well for a front wheel drive luxury sports coupe. The car was very stable through the high speed turns and the handling was fairly predictable. The Honda Accord on the other hand, took the turns more sloppy.
Even if the turns were more sloppy compared to the more refined Acura, the Honda Accord managed to leave the CL Type-S behind at almost every corner! Each corner we took, we observed that the Accord was able to turn in much harder and exit the corners at a much faster speed. However, once on a long stretch, the CL Type-S starts to catch up.
Our final challenge takes us to Suzuka Raceway where we did a 3 lap race. As we have thought, the CL Type-S managed to edge out the Accord at almost every straight way on this track, and there are a lot of them. The Accord performed heroically around the corners but there wasn’t enough sharp corners to help pass the CL Type-S. During the test, we observed that the sloppiness of the Accord’s handling became very obvious. Turn by turn, the Accord would slip and slide, it even managed to go of course twice!
So the verdict, pick Acura CL Type-S if you are looking for a fun and refined car that roars massive power. Pick the Honda Accord V6 if you plan to modify the car for further track use. Don’t get us wrong, the CL Type-S has a lot of potential too but multiple twisty roads are not it’s friend.
hehe

Now you See “M” and Now You Don’t.
The 2004 M3 and the 2005 330i ZSP are both very rare cars at the Used Car Dealership. Both are from the 3-Series line up but only one of them carries a “M” badge. You can’t really say that having a “M” badge on the 3-Series is like giving it steroids. The M3 was built with passion and precision. The R&D at BMW picked out the best of the best for the sake of being the perfect track car. Think of it this way, the M3 is a genetically engineered machine. Each pieces and parts were carefully picked out before manufacturing the car. While On the other hand the 330i ZSP (Sport Package) is more like a 3-Series on steroids. Compared to the base model, the 330i was given a more powerful 3 liter Inline 6 engine, a well refined suspension, bigger wheels, and other sport package performance upgrades.
For 44,000cr, the 330i is nearly half the price of the M3. It managed to do 0-60mph in just 5.8 seconds average, not bad for a 1525kg sports sedan with only 254hp. Since the 330i isn’t as well refined as the M3, the car fishtails around the corners. The good thing however is that it is able to recover rather than doing a full 360 degrees. After a few laps around Tuscana and Laguna Seca, it became very pleasing and fun to drive. Given that it’s lap time wasn’t anything to rave about because it had spent most of it’s time trying to grip, the car was still exciting to drive.
A stock 330i should NEVER be put against the M3 in a straight line performance test. From a 40mph punch, the M3 already easily puts 2 car lengths by 100mph thanks to it’s 350hp engine. Zero to 60mph is achieved in just under 5 seconds. The M3 shines the most when it takes the corners. Even with comfort soft tires, the M3 doesn’t break traction as easily as the 330i. This demonstrates how well built the M3 is. Yes the price of a M3 is very steep, but for 80,000cr you get a very well refined machine that will rip up any of its competitors on the track.
It is a no brainer that the M3 beats the 330i. But let’s be honest, with the extra 36,000cr saved, so much can be done to the 330i that it might potentially beat the M3 on both corners and straight line. Or could it? Tune in next week when we tackle the 2004 M3 with our 330i equiped with Medium Sport Tires, Race Intake, Sport Header, Sport Exhaust, Sports Catalytic, Sports Intake Manifold, ECU Tune, and Height Adjust Suspension, all done for under 30,000cr. Remember kids, steroids don’t make you perfect, genetic engineering does.
