well, heres the thing with the seasonal winnings along with probably everything else...
- Addition of the Consecutive Login Bonus
When a user logs in consecutively, a bonus will now be applied to experience and race rewards.
It will increase to 110% in the 1st day, 130% in the 2nd day, 150% in the 3rd day, 170% in the 4th, to a maximum of 200% in the 5th day. This will apply to all events both online and offline, so logging in every day will make the game progress faster.

haha, well, i'm pretty sure you can just turn on the game and then log in, save and leave or something just to count as you "played" the game that day
i'll probably do that... such a hassle tho but i don't wanna play 5 days straight just to have 200% winnings

yeah the 1:03 was pretty crazy. I'm guessing a good wheel and pedal setup or something of that nature. Or, maybe he's a hacker.
btw, I got down to 26000th after several laps with a 1:13. Of course now that's prolly changed considerably

Gran Turismo 5 DLC delayed for US players
“Special bonus” to make up for one-week delay
Gran Turismo 5's big DLC additions have been delayed until Oct 25 in the US. Asian and European players should be downloading the new content by the time you read this, but it won't hit American servers for another week. GT5 fans are a patient lot, so instead of bemoaning the one-week cool-off, celebrate the bonus Sony will be giving you for waiting a few more days.
Above: The Red Bull X 2011 is among the new vehicles you can certainly wait one more week for
“GT5 DLC will hit the North American Store on 10/25 but will include a special bonus,” Sony tweeted to its PlayStation account today, though no word on what that might comprise. But with four new packs to make your way through, or one $12 update including new tracks, cars, items and paints, what's one week in the grand scheme of things?

Gran Turismo 5 DLC Delay “Special Bonus” Revealed

Polyphony Digital is offering the above car, the Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model, for North American users who have to wait until October 25 to purchase the Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2.0 DLC.
The details come from GT Planet, via a PlayStation Store Update:
For those who purchase the “Complete Pack” by November 7, we will throw in a unique GT Academy dynamic theme as well the Honda NSX GT500 Stealth Model. Just to be clear, both the dynamic theme and the car are free with purchase of the Complete Pack.
The Honda was only available in the European Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition or to those who pre-ordered Gran Turismo 5 in the United States. So, I suppose for those Wal-Mart purchasers, this doesn’t feel like much of a gain.
With the release of the DLC now out everywhere else, high quality footage of the Kart Space track is hitting the Net. After the jump is video that shows the neon isn’t too distracting, after all:
