Might be a good idea to log in to your PS account through GT5 if you haven't done so for a while. I had a free Red Bull X2010 waiting for me from Sony last night when I did. Apparently, they are celebrating S. Loeb's recent win by giving out a free car.

Gran Turismo 5: Free Red Bull X2010 For Everyone if Vettel Wins the Championship
by Giuseppe Nelva on September 30, 2011 10:00 AM
Kazunori Yamauchi has never hidden the fact that he’s a fan of Sebastian Vettel and the german driver is literally one point away from winning the F1 World Championship (much to my dismay, as a Ferrari fan).
The director of Gran Turismo 5 announced today on Twitter that the game’s players will have one more reason to celebrate Vettel’s probable victory at the upcoming GRand Prix at Suzuka:
Personally, I already have two of those, but I’m sure many still didn’t manage to get their hands on the rather overpowered beast. If you’re planning to get Gran Turismo 5, or to return to it when the Spec 2.0 update (that we still know nothing about) will hit, it might be wise to do so a week or so earlier in order to get this car.
EDIT: It has come to my attention that many were wondering if we’d get just the color, and not the car itself, due to the wording of the third tweet. We’re getting the whole car, as Yamauchi specified in a further message:
The car, not the color.

If Sebastian Vettel becomes the winner of the F1 World Championship title in the Oct. 9 Formula 1 Suzuka GP…
To commemorate Vettel’s 2 year consecutive world championship title,
We’ll give away the “Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel” color, TO EVERYONE WHO LOGS ONTO GT5 WITHIN 1WK FROM VETTEL’S VICTORY…

but wait, there's more. a 5 million credit challenge, using the X2010.

Sebastian Vettel clinched the Formula One championship yesterday, but it seems it’s Gran Turismo 5 players who’re celebrating the most. In honor of Vettel’s win, Sony’s giving away free cars to each and every user.
The car in question isn’t Vettel’s actual race car, but the Red Bull X2010 concept the F1 star helped dream up for the video game. But don’t let that discourage you: the car was previously only available to gamers who completely beat GT5, which was no small feat.
The car is no slouch, either: it was designed to flaunt current racecar regulations and provide the best performance of any race car, ever. To that end, it has a twin-turbo direct injection V-6 engine producing 1483 horsepower and 527 pound-feet of torque, and a curb weight of 1356 pounds. It also uses a similar setup to the old Chaparral 2J, which uses a fan to suck air from beneath the car, creating up to 1.63G of downforce. All told, the car can do 0-60 mph in 1.4 seconds, 0-120 mph in 2.8 seconds, and 0-200 mph in 6.1 seconds…at least, on your television screen.
Red Bull and Gran Turismo 5 are giving the car to each and every GT5 user that logs in to the PlayStation Network through October 16th. Once gamers have the car, there’s a second celebration gift: five million virtual credits for drivers who score a gold medal on a unique time attack challenge. Lap the Suzuka circuit in a minute and 25 seconds, and the big prize is yours. For those of you who aren’t gamers, consider a virtual credit to be about one dollar in GT5. Scoring a gold, then, is enough to stock your virtual garage with four or five Bugatti Veyrons.
Not that the Veyron is any improvement on the X2010, though. Elite gamers have been known to take the X2010 around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just three and a half minutes, and the X2010 can theoretically reach 280mph. In other words, it makes the world’s fastest production car look, well, slow.

^^^I'm guessing there's no way I beat that time considering I just got the car. But, I'm sitting on about $12M right now and it's super-easy to get a lot of money right now with the payouts on the Seasonal Events at 10x normal as a "apology" to PS users for the outage a while back.
I've been using a modded out replica of my own IRL car on one of those events to rack up all kinds of bucks. I have over 550 cars in my garage at this point. Fun stress relief.

i just tried the X2010 at Suzuka, ran a 1:17 on my 3rd lap. and it wasnt even a clean lap. I mean I went off the road once and was braking too much, etc. that could be an easy 5 mil!!

New intro doesn't seem all that different. At least the first half.

It's just the standard cars. The interiors for the premium cars remain the same.

Spa is a great track.
will be happy to have it, if that's the case.
