it was actually not that frustrating and yet really fun
some of them are really easy too.. beat them in first try

got online last and played daytona with the CUP cars, fun as hell, you can draft/bump draft a ton, had a blast

What about EXP for endurance races? Is it alot or weak sauce?

for bspec, it looks a lot.

ie. 9hr race is 650K+ and 24hr race is 2.4M

so, aspec should be a lot too

Lol we were plate racing with 1 lap left and all I hear is no bumping, hold your line etc. how the hell else am I going to get the front without bump drafting, its like they have never seen the last few laps of a real plate race

Kind of funny there isn't any tuning restrictions on JGTC, cause they're limited to <=500hp in real life.. And some others I think but can't remember.

Downforce is awesome!! Just by changing the downforce, my JGTC R34 GT-R was able to lap high-speed ring over a second faster per lap!

I just bought the VW GTI 2005 just for that seasonal event...man...it handles pretty good even with comfort tires. Very fun to drive!

yea i thought golf was fun to drive also, although i full upgraded it just for the heck of it

Quick question. I've searched for gear ratios for zr1 fully modded w/o RM. any suggestions on the ratios?

You should have it set to just about hit the rev limiter in the highest gear at the end of the longest straight on that track.

i personally wouldnt do that, if you're drafting a car you'll bounce off the rev limiter slowing you down.

i wish the would add the option of more restricition to the online racing, ie. if you go backwards on the track you get booted stop on the track booted, able to specify more restrictions on cars, and such.

i started this thing with my friend

we pick a car, we limit amount of $ for upgrading (including oil change and aero kit.. pertty much any money you spend on it counts)
last time we did civic type-r (forgot the year, but found from dealer, the recent one) and upgrade limit to $65k

i thought that was pretty fun.. and if you guys are interested, i can start posting this info on the other GT5 competition thread..
