Tyler T...WOW...
Tyler M...did you end up selling the TL finally? I thought you were just parting it out little by little...not parked on your lawn anymore?
I sold it within a month of parting it out. The only thing it had left was the black emblems
I forgot that I took this picture of an S2kBro back in October.
Hardtop, single exhaust, spoiler, side mirrors, wheels, diffuser/body kit, shorty antenna?
The Antenna is the stock. Considering what i have seen, that one is pretty tastefully modded. I dont like the rear diffuser... unless he actually needs the aero otherwise it is just 1 more thing to crack over speed bumps.
That's a great looking GPW, probably as far as I'd ever go modding mine.
Nothing new with my car, other than racking mileage & 4x4ing it up.
The diffuser, side strakes, and can't see the front but assuming its there ridiculous front splitter are total overkill unless actually track driving this car. Otherwise, it's a speed bump and curb magnet. Also, the single exhaust looks terrible and hacked on.
I hate it when people change a dual exhaust vehicle to a single exhaust. I think it looks so tacky and ruins the ass end of the car. Yeah yeah, I know, because race car, but god damn, who said you can't have a good looking race car?
that's why I refused to go single exit...they are considerably cheaper, too.
oono...why? I did lube up and remove the checkvalve on my slave, but it was in condition so I put it back in.
I'd only want to replace the slave cylinder if I wanted to get rid of the check valve.
At this point, If I were to do anything with my car .. I'd do mostly maintenance items like a bushing overhaul, fluid changes, and maybe throw a front sway bar on. OEM suspension handles pretty good, tires are absolute tits, brakes are tough, engine is stout - there's really nothing I'd change about my car ... hence why I'm getting a little bored of it.
I think once the S2000 is paid off (soon), I'll get myself a project car that makes some whoosh whoosh sounds

If you want an awesome project car, buy an old Jeep. Tons of fun, parts are cheap, mods are cheap, super reliable, and (since you're in socal) there are tons of places to take it for real Jeeping work.
what was teh failure on your clutch?
slave, or master?
on teh TL, my slave o ring failed at like 35K and 5 years...swapped it out and removed the CDV and it's been fine for 70K miles now.
What did you think went in the blank space?
Gawd I am in love with the RS...they look so nice on the yellow, even the color I ended up picking is such a good compliment to Rio. Happy happy Joy joy.
So i was driving to my company's Xmas party last Friday and saw a LBP S2000 and I started "chasing" it down, Not racing.
then my GF said very calmly, That was your car.......
I was not sure but apparently she remembered my plate #.
So i took a picture of it and verified it today.

When i had it.
1. Why is the car leaning to the left?
2. You can transfer plates in the US? In canada, the plate stays with the person, not the car. You can never transfer them.
