Yeah, I think you underestimate how much you'll dislike being raised up. Especially with aftermarket wheels.

We all know it. I think...or have our own respective term for it. I just know that once you go low, you can't raise back up and still love the car. It's mathematically impossibru.
You guys crack me up.
My mom's AP2 has stock suspension and I don't think the wheel gap looks particularly bad, but it's definitely a small price to pay to garage your car every day ... I really miss that.
I know you guys are looking out for me, which I appreciate ...
Oh...well that I didn't realize. I thought you were making due but it was a lot of work to get the right angle to get it in. If you're parking on the street instead of the garage...then that makes sense.
g'damn Sam...you just made me blush and kinda get chubby in the pants at the same time. #nohomo
Thanks, man...I do it cause I love it, but it's always nice to hear that someone else digs it too. I'd be glad to shoot your car.
Welcome Liem! I often wish my DD was more comfortable and automatic and that RL would fit the bill perfectly!
Maybe that's what I should do...sell the TL for an RL.

RL has potential for being a great dd .. but I'll always have a soft spot for the 3G 6MT

I really do like your style and the quality of shots you get. I can dominate landscape photos and landscapes with cars but I've never really gotten into just cars (though I'd like to). It's really quite sad that my 40D with 24-105L doesn't put out as nice of images as your Rebel. Ugh, my camera body is ancient and needs replacing.

Is that what you Floridians call it when there's a permanent imprint of your ass where the seat cushion has conformed to it?
You have me confused though on gear, Sam...I'm D7100 with F1.8 Fiddy (for those shots, at least). I stare at cars and it really amazes me how tilting the lens or moving a foot over can affect how you "FEEL" looking at the picture of the car. That's really what I try and perfect.
I think there's new life hidden in your camera somewhere. A tripod & nice wide lens makes a world of difference shooting cars.
24-105L
70-200 2.8L
50 1.4
Manfrotto tripod (I don't remember the model)
Lenses/tripod are solid. Camera does fine in normal daylight. Low light levels and ability to resolve fine details (like what is needed for product/car photography) is where it sh1ts the bed.
I largely know what I'm doing and I feel like my work is getting more body limited than lens/ability limited.
7000, not 7100, my bad.
The dual slots, long battery life, water resistance have all been awesome. Upgrade, sucka! I started with the Canon 30D though...did the trick to learn!
Believe me my dude, I was kinda disappointed too. As soon as I finished installing the final shock and let it settle on the ground, it instantly reminded me of JS+BRZs Mazdaspeed3
