I hope your insurance doesn't see this thread when they find it burned to a crisp or buried in a canal.

Leave it in the hood, keys on dash, all doors unlocked.

Insurance: We found your car, but nothing seems broken. The car is stripped but windows are still intact and ignition.

Me: damn people are becoming more smart these days on how to steal a car.

Police: Please move your car, it's been here for two weeks and people want the space.

Me: damn I should just sell it and buy a S2000.
Fixed.

I honestly don't even think I'm going to sale it. I'll donate it or give it to someone in the family that needs a car to get from point A to B.

I would only do S2K, if it's my 3rd car in the family. It's just not practical at all realistically. haha and I have no idea but every time I drive a S2K, I get a backache.

M3 wasn't as a compelling buy as S2K was. More like an impulse consideration since the E92s were fairly competitively priced back then. lol It just didn't make sense financially since I was going to track the car. Good thing I didn't buy that car! lol

The S2k will be my third car...

The wife told me I'm not allowed to buy anymore cars after I get an S2k though last night.

So I want another classic, I'll just have to have my dad buy it when he retires in a couple months.

So I pretty much said ok, I will not buy anymore cars.

that is why S2000 only can be driven by certain type of people. You sit straight and proper.

There is nothing with the Corolla, plenty of people want them.

But it is not the type of car for people like us... it is soul sucking boring even as a DD.

My wife bought it brand new in 2004, I tell her till this day, damn it. Wish I knew you back then because you wouldn't have bought this crap. She almost traded it in for a 08 3 series back in 09, but then the state got hit with "furloughs"

She says nothing is wrong with the Corolla, until last Friday when she pretty much said it's a POS and time for something new because she had to drive it up the street.

I'm a car guy sorry, it's a boring ass car.

ahahaha You are a horrible person.. in a good way.

My gf drives a Corolla.. When we go out and I don't feel like putting miles on my TL (aka 90% of the time), we'll take her car (meaning I get to drive ). MPG's are great though...

I'm 6'3". I tried fitting into a S2k back when I was shopping for a car in 2011 and I couldn't find a comfortable seating position with the top up.

Last Friday I spotted a clean Berlina S2k in Glendale and asked my girlfriend what her thoughts would be if I had bought that instead of my MINI. She laughed and said, "I never thought I'd be happy that you drove your annoying MINI Cooper!"

I drove my boss' 05 corolla S...5MT...I thought it was pretty fun to beat on.

But I was also glad to drop it back off to him. My co-worker buddy's wife just traded her 06 with a rusty roof in for a CR-V. Only got $1500 for it...all it had was a rusty roof. I kinda wish I had a car I cared not about.

had to do a quick google search to figure out what gen...

yea 2012... I did do a Morimoto Mini H1 project retrofit with Morimoto 4300K bulbs and XB35 ballasts in it though... so it's bright as hell I also put a Pioneer head unit in it.. Two of the reasons I drive the car I put in myself

Did the same retrofit on gf's brother's gf's old Civic and the cutoff is so freaking beautiful:

Ha, a lot of our SOs have Corollas (mine included, I think it's a 2012 Base)

Fantastic gas mileage & super comfortable, does exactly what it's meant to do.

I'm 5ft 9 and the S2000 fits me like a glove, although it does a number on your back after awhile (gotta keep up those core straight exercises to stabilize your disks )

My SO had a Toyota Echo when I met her. We took my TL everywhere, and I mean everywhere. She thought I was embarrassed to ride with her. Lets just say I convinced her to get a new 3 series for her safety on the road with all those mighty suv's out there and for the awd in the winter.... yup we still take my TL everywhere.

The seat position in the S is critical. If you have the seat all the way back, you can't recline. So pull it up a little and put the seat back. There's a lot of space in the foot box so having the seat forward a bit isn't a huge deal. Once you recline, you'll be a lot more comfortable. If you sit straight up, it'll most definitely not be comfy at all.

Also, I would never own the S as anything but a toy car. It's not practical for anything but that. Also, there's no way I'm driving it in the winter here.

Me too. All you tall guys thought you had it good right? Let me just go comfortably sit in my S2000 and go for a drive.

My wife had a Pontiac Grand Am... It was a POS so we got rid of it and bought the Accord. She had never driven "such a nice car".

I'm in the process of pulling the trigger on this. See any issues from the pics that I don't?
