fuck...used an old ax handle under the tct and upper shock mount...was able to lift the engine up a solid 2 inches.
motor mount time...
I'm guessing you all do your transmission mounts while you're at it? I looked at mine this week and they "looked" okay, although I can't really put enough stress on them to tell if they're just pressed together but hiding cracks.
All the 3G and S2000 talk a few pages back had me feeling like sharing this pic from the weekend. Briefly together until the S goes under the knife again.

Yup, sounds like you need motor mounts.
I didn't bother replacing mine because they weren't ripped or cracked from age, maybe just really broken in
I think I'm gonna do them all...
I don't want any extra vibration so getting aftermarket ones are not in the plans for me. Almost ordered from Rockauto then read a horrible review about DEA vs OEM mounts.

I don't wanna buy a whole new set and I don't wanna pay for shipping for just that so I'm getting one of those too...only $8!
placing an order for both oem mounts and transmission mounts, while I'm at it!
Video is private?
And thanks! It's actually the garage at my parents place and I love working on my car there, tons of space and tools galore.

I remember browsing through this thread before I bought my AP2... which lead me to check insurance rates versus my CLS-6 ... which lead me to AutoTrader ... which lead me to several test drives.
