Just picked her up last weekend. 6.5 hour drive to North Dakota from Minneapolis. 07 with 36k miles. $19.5k. Don't love the powder coated red rims but I don't hate them either. Was hoping I could use a set of 18x7.5 gold Advan RG's I picked up while on vacation in Phoenix, but the rears are too narrow.

Oh well. Just splurged on an RV6 true dual for the TL so cancel new rims for the S2 until next year or until I find a wider pair to go with my Advans.

Cracked the lip a little taking it off the trailer.

Tint isn't a big deal to me, and cops are dicks about tint in MN. Had to remove 30% tint off of my 06 Accord a couple years ago. The wife was getting too many warnings for it.

Thanks! It was GPW or nothing. Wanted another championship white Type R but they are just too high of a theft magnet in the Twin Cities.

It's solid. Need to lose some weight because the s2k feels like my sweater after thanksgiving dinner.

Congrats man, welcome to the club!

Red rims look like a love/hate type of thing but you'll be putting the S2k to bed for the winter soon anyway. Good time to save up for other wheels.

FWIW, MN craigslist has tons of S2k parts that some of the hardparked crowd take off their very nice cars. There are almost always a nice set of wheels on there.

Really cool video on Speed Academy attempting to make an AP1 faster than a '14 F-Type around the track.

$4500 for that car?

Sign me up. I could use a dedicated track S2k and a beauty queen for the road.

No, it came with VTAK

My 73-mile commute only has 24-miles of "city" driving. The cruise is typically set at 80 when on the highway and I don't touch it.

They couldn't get everything right on the whole car, something had to go wrong.

2/3 is highway! It's fantastic to have the top down for 40+ minutes after being stuck inside all day.

It's been too hot to enjoy having the top down - It was 102 w/ 40% humidity on the way home yesterday ... in stop & go traffic

I rarely use the A/C, but it's been one of those weeks.

Agreed, but the S2000 is not what you'd call a comfortable daily cruiser. As a sports car the S2000 is an unparalleled machine (sorry Miata people but it's true) but as a comfy cruiser...not so much.

If you were doing the same in a Mercedes SL then it would be a different story.

Everyone has a different tolerance level on the comfy-ness.

The top down experience itself would be comfortable for me.
