Alex, V 6 P has a whole section for 4cylinders.

It's the best overall accord forum IMO. Very active.

Now why would I go and do something crazy like that?? Maybe I'd consider the sedan but no more coupes for me with a family now. Plus I'd be going waaaaaay slower in an Accord than the MS6.

Thinking about doing tint soon. Does anyone one have any comments on the moleskin to prevent the tint from being scratched due to Honda's hard weatherstripping?

Stylewise, the 7G is my second least favorite when it comes to the Accord coupe (4G notchbac...er...coupe is my least fave). But Gen7Milan's looks sharp and clean. Very nice.

4G (wagon) and 6G (coupe) are my favorites. Not saying the 7G is my least favorite though, that probably goes to the 8G (no offense 8G owners).

My favorite overall is the 7G AV6 6MT coupe. Then the 6G and 4G coupes following close behind. Yeah, I'm a coupe kind of guy.

Too bad thieves love them as well....

:gheyhug:

thanks fellas..

i may be leaving the 03 rear end behind soon for the updated 06+ tails/trunk/lip/bumper.

havent made that decision final. i just like the idea of no spoiler, and it flows much better with the updated rear.

Usually I hate wing spoilers but yours works well with the lines on the lip kit, especially on the side skirt.

IMO:

The 7G coupe only looks good with the wing or lip spoiler.

The 7.5G coupe only looks good without.

too edgy/busy.

i like the way the 7.5 trunk has a lip on its own, opposed to the 7 trunk rounding down.
so there's no need for the spoiler.

the 7.5 rear lip is also a bit busy for me, but i dont like the way the 7 lip fits on the 7.5 bumper.

should i even bother with going to honda for my oil changes? my 1st service is due but the closest dealer is like 35 miles away.

i always used firestone with my acura and never had a problem. as long as i use the same oil and same shop i should be good, right?

No way to change the oil yourself?

When I'm lazy or pressed for time, I'll bring my own oil and filter to an independent shop I've been going to for a long time and have them do it. They charge me $5-$10. Maybe you can do this too.

5 qt jug of reg. oil at Walmart is like $12-$15 + $3-$5 for a filter + $5-$10 for labor = same price as dealer.... and if you stock up on the oil when there are specials, rebates, etc... even less.

There's a $20 rebate right now for 5 qts of Quaker State Ultimate Durability. Walmart sells 5 qt jug of QSUD for about $23 - $20 rebate = ~ $4 with tax.

Just a thought.

Sounds like a good idea! Thanks

It's in the mid 70's here perfect weather to mess around with the car. I have a small car jack but I think it's time to upgrade.

With the ride height of the 8G, you dont even need to jack the car up. Just turn the wheel to the right, slide the drain pan under, and drain it.

I never jack up the 8Gs in my family, and the Odyssey is even easier.
