Sorry to hear gr8ness, in hindsight you didn't purchase the car and eventually you'll find another 6MT Sedan in much better condition.
Keep searching, they're wonderful cars.

I changed out my 2 front Innovative mounts today with stronger bushings .. I took out my 65a bushings and theyre were completely lopsided and smashed.
You wouldn't think it would be hard to put 75a bushings into a motor mount, but they appear to be pressed and assembled in factories with machines .. there is literally no budge on these tough new bushings and you have to take drastic measures in order to press them .. by hand
.
I first had to boil some water, throw in these mounts (to make them somewhat pliable), then I had to put a bolt / nut through each mount and tighten them together while wedging a large screw driver to wedge the mount in. What a day! Car drives awesome and I feel it could be ready for the track soon
, just need a new clutch now
. Exedy 2 anyone?
Look how well this clutch puts down power .. this is with the checkvalve removal too:

And for those interested to see how my 65a bushings held up for 1 year of medium / hard driving:

Shopping for tires
So the Accord is due for tires. I have a couple of options that I'm debating between right now. Just wanted to see if anyone on here as had any experience with these tires.
Continental Extreme Contact DW or DWS - great reviews on the Accord forum
Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport - I had RE050 on my G35 coupe and they worked great.
Yokohama Avid Envigor - some reviews on came back saying they were hard to balance.
If anyone as any other suggestions, please let me know. I live in Houston so don't need to really be concerned with snow. The tire size I need is 235/45 18
Thanks

Before the Contis I had the stock Bridgestone Potenzas and although I inherited them at the end of their life they didn't get very many miles on them before showing major wear. In fact when I had the Contis mounted on the new wheels I noticed huge cracks in the outter tread on the Bridgestones. But again, having got them at the end of their life it's not a totally fair review.
Otherwise I had two sets of Falkens on my 6mt coupe. I had 215/50-17s 920s on the stock wheels and they were awesome tires. I believe they are all seasons so you might not want that, but they were quiet and the tread held up great. I also had 245/40-18 452s and although they started off quiet after about 1,000 miles they were already starting to get noisier. They're summer tires though and they gripped like mothers, but I didn't like how loud there were already getting.

Thanks for the info! It looks like I'll be going with Conti DW as of now. I know a lot of G35 owners switching out their Potenza due to uneven wear but I never experienced that issue.
Good luck with your move to Nashville. We used to live in Atlanta and have driven to Nashville once or twice. Nice scenic roads up there!

Quarterlife Crisis....

I have the DWS on my Subaru. I purchased them for the long tire life and I broke them in on my summer trip to the Arctic Circle. I have about 20k on the set now.
I liked them alot. They were much better than the Bridgestones that were on the car. The soft sidewall is a little annoying, but a few extra PSI helps even them out. The price was attractive through, and they grip excellent in the rain and dirt.
With that said, I think I will try the DWs next.

Hey guys!
Need a little help with my '04 I4 MT coupe.
My stereo works.
When lights are turned on the screen dims. Everything still works including the HVAC controls. But the screen is so dark that its hard to see.
The buttons on the HVAC work, but do not light up.
What could be the issue?
Thanks

if you wanted to replace the radio with an aftermarket unit, you can order a kit from metra to replace your whole radio face with a new one.

So im supposed to be going look at the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust for the coupe this weekend..
should be a fairly cheap deal as the guy needs a stock exhaust and suspension.
he's parting out and bring it back to stock, maybe we can help one another out and i can get a nice sounding exhaust out of it.

^ Wow that rear wheel poke looks completely out of place on the Accord. Not sure what you were thinking on that.

A bit too much poke in the rear for me, but it looks great otherwise.
Where'd you get those fogs?
I'd get that front end looked at as well.

Plan on tinting the Accord next few weeks. Does tint look darker on a white car or black car? I've had 15% on the black TL and want to know if I need to go lighter or darker tint for the Accord.
Edit: Never had a white car before, always had black or darker colors.

Tan interior. That'll make any tint look lighter so I think I might as well do a 10 or 15%.
Eventually I'll tint the windshield. Loved it on my TL! Had 15 all around and 35 on windshield, never pulled over

Yea, the tint will look lighter. Not sure about the exterior color effecting the tint, all Ive had were dark cars
