Swapped the spark plugs out at around 118k for new NGK Iridiums, mileage got a significant bump after that service (included valve adjustment, new trans fluid).

Now, averaging about 22-23 in hardcore city, 32-36 highway.

^ That sounds about right.

I too question using seafoam on older engines.

Last time I used it was probably at 90,000 mi, 106,000 now.

that stuff goes into my engine about every 15k or so. Well over 200k on the motor no issues.

I usually stick to the 15-20% loss figures. It changes from car to car.

Getting my Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS ceramic pads installed today with a brake fluid flush! .

I'll let you guys know my impressions tonight, it's supposed to be a great combo.

This Accord is becoming a money pit .. holy shit.

2 months:

$400 for brakes (installation & parts)
$600 for exhaust
$500 for timing belt service (installation)
$150 for transmission mounts / fluid
$50 for oil

Sorry for the double post ..

Brakes are incredible, great stopping power with pretty good bite.

I took my car on multiple 60-0mph just to bed them in a bit.

If you have warped rotors / need a brake job, I'd recommend Powerslot slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads!

Good to know man. I'm gonna need to replace my front rotors/pads soon. My buddy and I did the rears, but I still experience shudder. I was looking into the Powerslot slotted rotors. Do you know how heavy they are compared to stock?

Oh, man that photo makes me feel guilty about the condition of my car.

But . Will you be going staggered too? If you ever feel like unloading your stockies for cheap...

And swirl-free, presumably waxed, door-ding free, unhazed headlights, clean plastics, free of rock chips, and no wax residue on any edges.

the staggered is only offered in 18x8.5 and 18x10..

as much as I'd like to, I'm gonna just run 18x8.5 et 20 all around with spacers in the back to flush them out.

10" requires too much rolling cutting and pulling on perfectly good fenders...

slight extra camber in the rear.. the front will be fine

I've already test fitted an 8.5 wheel with +30 in the front and had room to spare

that moment you realize that they may have sent you a whole set of wheels instead of the one wheel you ordered.... and charged for one wheel...

heaven... hopefully it's not an order mixup!

^ Nice! I got an extra set of wheels once when I ordered a set. I was a good citizen and had the shipping company return them to the sender though. Probably should have kept them lol.

Put 630 miles on the Accord this weekend going to Vegas .. I cannot believe the gas mileage she gave me on the way up there.

I left San Diego at 6pm, had a heavy foot at the beginning and a decent amount of traffic .. not to mention temperatures were in the 100s at 7 in the evening.

346 mi used up 10.5 gallons = 32.95mpg!

And for those who are interested in Innovative engine mounts, don't bother getting 60as .. mine finally let go over the weekend at some point and I'm back to lots of engine movement.

I called up Innovative and they're shipping me a set of 75a mounts, I should have them in the car in roughly 1 -2 weeks.

Supertrooper, how's the MS6 treating you? Looks like the modding bug has hit you .

Rockstar, how's the Accord running? Any more plans for it?
