Nice drop but clearly not intended for use in a Northeastern major city.

Man I'm tryin to find a reason to keep my Accord. The mpg is great but I miss the TL. I feel like I can't mod the 8G Accord...maybe because it's a 4cyl.
I'm all over the place should've got the V6!

you just bought it!
If I were you, I'd do a little bit of drivetrain stuff but focus on chassis/handling. Coils, swaybars, and tires and you should be set.

As far as mods go, I wouldn't do it as it'll MPG may deteriorate but there are a few that seem effective, like the
Anyway, you'll enjoy the four cylinder Accord more in few weeks as pump prices shoot up further.

Price of gas here jumped by .08 from last night. A 5mt 4cyl is perfect for my daily travel.
Ive been thinking about the downpipe and pulley so I might do that in the summer. I saw that video earlier, sounds nice! If I keep the Accord I can allow myself a motorcycle that should make the daily driving more interesting!

Keep the Accord, you'll be shooting yourself in the foot when summer time gas prices are in full swing.
I'm just lucky 70% of my commute is highway!
On another note .. you could always look into a 7G 6MT Coupe?

My mom had an '04 EX V6. It wasnt a 6MT but I loved that car. 31-33mpg on the highway (better then my sister-in-laws '03 EX I4 on the highway) and a good amount of power. I find them to be much more nimble then the '08+ Accords. The VCM does make a huge difference as well, and not in a good way.

on the 6MTs.
The 7G I4s are much more sensitive to how they're driven. They bog easily, which ruins mileage. But if you keep an eye on speed and engine behavior, they'll shine. I've seen 36 MPG on long trips.

Before I picked up my old 07 AV6 sedan (5AT), I'd test drove an 06 AV6 sedan 6MT and it was a blast to drive. I would have purchased that but the wife nixed that one.
But it's a great combination of performance and mpg. I did a trip to Virginia and back (NJ) averaging roughly 30 mpg...and that was with three passengers and a load of luggage.

Had it for breakfast. Probably will have it for dinner
Aman what's going on with your Accord? You posted a picture of Facebook a while back of it being towed away.

Fawking starter gave out Wednesday.
Had it towed to the dealer, $300 for the starter, $400 for labour But it's fine now. Just glad it worked on Tuesday when I really needed it.
Fixed now, though. Brought it to school for the week, and it's still the same old rattling piece of crap.

I actually came from a 3G TL
Some say I made a mistake, nah .. it's all about that 3rd petal with less miles.

Miles, schmiles. I enjoy racking them up as fast as I can.
Labour was the ripoff, but that's how it is with most dealers. They said that the main reason it took so long was because the starter is underneath the intake manifold.
If there's one thing this car's been consistent with recently, it's coming up with a new problem every time I come home. Condensation in the passenger headlight.
