The V2 is a dual chamber design where the regular AEM CAI is a single diameter. Whether it actually does what AEM claims with the larger outer diameter and smaller inner regarding air tubulance or not, the sound alone is reason to buy it. You should check out my YouTube video I did a long time ago where I did completely stock and then just the V2. Just search AV6 6mt AEM V2 or something like that. I should be the first one that comes up, it has tons of views.

The Accord's future looks great. A new sport version, more like a trim.

<3 6 speed 4 door Accords!

I just wish modern cars would go on a diet .. I couldn't believe the weight difference and overall road manners between a 7G / 8G Accord Coupe.

I'm running an Injen CAI w/ KNN dry filter, picked it up cheap but it does add a reasonable amount of power.

If I had opportunity, I would pickup a V2 though.

If you're considering any exhaust work, J-pipe is a must! I love the gobbs of low end torque it gives you .. makes daily driving easier.

Rockstar, what about a J-pipe? I'd imagine it's superior to an intake in both sound and power.

Tears in the top are common as the S2000 has a flawed top design.

A 'Sport' model (sedan) with CVT it definitely counterintuitive. And it looks like the EX-V6 sedan (aka the base V6 sedan) has been dropped. So it looks like one will have to fork over 30-large for a V6.

im just excited they have a 6MT at all.
they could've just scrapped it.

and the K24 wouldnt be a bad car to drive mated with a 6MT if i knew the 2013 Accord wasnt going to be a complete whale.

cars just get bigger and bigger.

the S2000 is beautiful as a vert, dont get me wrong.. and i do love it.

but any vert, i dont care if its a supercar... looks like complete dog shit with the soft top up.. like night and day.

and the hard top is simple to remove for days when you know you'll be cruising a good bit.

It's amazing how clean you've kept your engine bay. Mine wasn't rusted (thank god) but the rustproofing was nasty on its own.

Test drove a V6 5AT today. I know Honda's 5ATs usually kill the fun but man, out of all the cars I drove today, I spent most of the time in WOT in that car. VERY addicting. I don't know if the previous owner had some mufflers moved, because the sounds was not stock. A little bit of a drone at cruise, but I wouldn't know. Not much cruising happened.

Most of the other stuff was plenty familiar, and I liked that.

Would buy one in a heartbeat if the ATs worked.

My car passed smog with flying colors yesterday.

Makes me reconsider pre-cat deletes ...

@Rockstar, your engine bay is so damn clean .. it's just begging for an intake / strut bar in there. What are your next mods?

intake will be very soon... i've thought about getting an aftermarket bar, but it seems like the stock one is more sturdy with it being a 4 point.

also, what brands and color options do they have for our cars? anything you'd recommend?

i have the Type Ones.. they are firm, but not flintstone car stiff...

they are holding up great and seem to be made of quality materials and put together very well.

they wont have the adjustability of your higher end stuff, but for around $600, you cant beat these things.

i really like them to be honest. but everyone is different.

normal? no..

but with this being my 4th lowered car, i've learned to drive differently than your every day commuter. (avoid steep speed bumps, crawl over Railroads with hazards on, take inclined entrances one wheel at a time, avoid ALL holes and dips in the road, cautiously open doors around curbs etc.)

i've got about 3 inches of clearence in the front (if that)... and cant make it up many inclines... but you learn to live with it and develop ways around certain obstacles. it also encourages you to be more cautious of your surroundings and keep a closer eye on your car in general.

I wish. The cash we got isn't even enough to any other 7th gen is as good condition as mine was. Might get a 6th gen and pocket the extra cash for school.
