I wonder if there would be any damage on the paint if you just let it melt...
Finally got around to clearing up my headlights today, with headlight clearer *coughspeeddemoncough*

Porsche released a video of its 911 Carrera S lapping the Nürburgring last month, and with a time of 7:37.9, the quintessential sports coupe continues to impress. With Timo Kluck behind the wheel, this Carrera S posted better times around the 'Ring than the 997 911 Turbo and, according to PorscheBoost, it even knocked a full two seconds off the time the Carrera S recorded last year.
The run took place on August 28, but Porsche only published the video this week. After checking recorded lap times posted on Wikipedia, the 911's run was faster than independent tests of the Lexus LFA, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Nissan GT-R and Ferrari 458 Italia (which all posted times of 7:38). That's good company if you ask us.

Nissan is claiming Porsche tuned the car on unicorn jizz to eek out some more power. They are adamant that the GT-R is still the king of the 'Ring. They plan on returning next month with the all new 2014 GT-R Nismo Super GT3 Spec-V.

I want to stay under 13k. My wife is pretty set on the another Trailblazer. You saw the pictures. It can defiantly take a hit. I liked it as well. Good size for her and plenty of room. I get a good hook up through work. I actually paid the same amount 3 years ago as the insurance is giving me back.
I love GTIs, I don't think anybody in town has one. That's how its been with all my cars..nobody had a modded 2G, nobody has a MS3, and nobody has a newer GTI or golf.
I want the GTI for a somewhat fun car still, but I'm considering the Golf TDI just because I drive so much. Its mileage may have some benefit.

I would say you would be at least 10mpg to the good on the diesel on the highway.
Sounds like $60 a month with the miles you do.
Keep in mind the Golf TDI is essentially a GTD which is sort of a diesel GTI. The Jetta isn't/wasn't.

According to R&T, VW is considering bringing the actual GTD to the States.
done, done, and no.... My thinking is i drive in D4 in the city and sometimes thats driving 45-55 which could drop to fifth gear. Probably has something to do with it. My city mpg is really low.
I think i would trust VW more now. Not saying that expect it to be honda. But it's for sure not the old VW and I wouldnt mind buying one.
