C7 ZO6 blown motor with 6 miles - Corvette Forum

What's wrong with C7 Z06!? They have been blowing up.. and this brand new one blew up after 6 miles..

What's cool about this story is though... Steven Bell is a moderator there too! haha

Also.. I must say that those guys go real light on the taint over there.. bans and thread closures come quickly.

It says in the article that it's a fixed price, which is usually lower than the sticker price. If they have what you want, just buy one from it. Not sure how the warranty and service work out though.

If Costco is doing it, they might not screw you as much as stealerships do. The Costco is awesome at keeping their customer base happy.

My coworker swears by it, he's bought his past three cars through it and says it's usually a great deal.

They don't, they negotiate prices ahead of time and offer a price for a car you want through a local dealer just like TrueCar does.

That said, I'd use it as a last resort in the off chance that you can actually get a better deal through a dealer using the email everyone and ask for their best deal method. If Costco is still better, then go for it. If not, you still save money.

For example, I just went on truecar and they are quoting me ~$47800 for a JGC Overland with tech package and ORA2 package. My local dealer has the same car advertised at $43k and change. So your results may vary.
