Yeah, get the PSS then!
You sound pretty salty today doe, SamDoe. You alright? Is it raining over there? It's like 80 here in LA today.

Thanks guys. I was looking at Chicago SCCA to do an autox, but for some reason all the events listed after the June 7th one say TBD still.
Chicago Region SCCA | Solo | Chicago Region SCCA
I'm also looking at maybe doing a PDX. But the one thing I'm hesitating over is the price. $250 + a weekend membership fee for the July 20th event at Blackhawks Farms, or $140 + weekend membership for August 21st at Autobahn CC.
Getting tires before that would be important.
Or I could just take it easy this summer and plan for it next summer. Another compounding issue is that I'm currently searching to buy a townhome.

Those FoRS Recaros are awesome, but I can't help but think that white is gonna turn indigo from jeans.

Anyone know a good place to purchase, besides TireRack and Discount Tire? I'm just looking at prices right now to do some homework.
I'm going to bump up to 245/40/R18. And I'm looking at Michelin PSS.
TireRack looks to be $773.76 after mail-in rebate, plus you can get a Special Offer: Buy a set of four and get $70 via MasterCard Reward Card.
Discount Tire is much more, at Total "Out the Door" Price $884.28, but that includes Installation & Lifetime Spin Balancing.

They have a special going on until 7/5/15. $70 off any set of 4 new Michelin tires. Plus and instant savings of $70 on top of that. So their price is $669.96, but you have to add $15 per tire for installation and disposal fee. So $729.96 plus taxes (they have free shipping).
Looks to be the best deal. I do prefer DT so I might call them up and see what they can do.
Damn those seats are awesome. The entire car is going to be awesome. I can't wait to see what it does at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

^4 years of everything Miami Heat with the Le in front. If Yum is one thing it is consistent as painfully unfunny as it was.
I saw lots of clips and pics from Motor Trend's instagram page there. Wow it looked like a monster show. All the old Jags and the race cars out there

I have a quick question.
Drove my wife's car up to Mammoth for camping over the long weekend. I noticed that the car developed this very slightly vibration going +80mph. Don't think it was there before. It's probably the alignment being off a little, right? The car is completely stock. We bought it brand new in 2010 and has about 55k miles.
If not alignment, what could it be?
Thanks!
PS: the tires have a good amount of tread.

Balancing?
Shocks?
Check for tire wear pattern for bald spots.

So, what you're really telling Kimchi here is to...upgrade his tires. So that he has a spit's chance to even consider taking on that RLX.

Who are we kidding...RLX beat any car by 903423 car lengths in upgraded tires.
