I'm also looking at maybe doing a PDX. But the one thing I'm hesitating over is the price. $250 + a weekend membership fee for the July 20th event at Blackhawks Farms, or $140 + weekend membership for August 21st at Autobahn CC.

Getting tires before that would be important.

Or I could just take it easy this summer and plan for it next summer. Another compounding issue is that I'm currently searching to buy a townhome.

Looks to be the best deal. I do prefer DT so I might call them up and see what they can do.

Damn those seats are awesome. The entire car is going to be awesome. I can't wait to see what it does at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

I have a quick question.

Drove my wife's car up to Mammoth for camping over the long weekend. I noticed that the car developed this very slightly vibration going +80mph. Don't think it was there before. It's probably the alignment being off a little, right? The car is completely stock. We bought it brand new in 2010 and has about 55k miles.

If not alignment, what could it be?

PS: the tires have a good amount of tread.

Noooo, it's properly mounted for sure. haha The tires are like those regular all season tires. Not even directional.

 

wheels can get unbalanced during regular wear.
have wheels balanced and rotated regularly

I think the tires have about 15k-20k miles on them. It's about a half way through. Will go to a tire shop tomorrow!

 

as tread wears, the balance becomes un-even.
i see my tire guys always re-balancing my tires with those little stick on weights
