Right, I know the A45 isn't an option. Shame the numbers aren't there for them to offer it here.

Leaning DSG GTI Autobahn, just need to see how low they can go. Want all the goodies you don't get on the SE.

My ST has been an amazing daily driver. Over 70,000 trouble-free miles with tons of low-end torque to play with while having a comfortable ride with amazing seats and an interior that has everything I need while looking good too.

Anyway, who knows what the next few years will entail. My next purchase won't be for me but for the wife who is due a new car to get out of her old Civic. Will most likely be a CR-V Touring. She said if we get her that then I can get whatever I want after that with no budgetary restraints. She keeps mentioning something luxury-performance, and referencing M... but it has to be four doors. She's really into the idea of an M3, and I'm down with that in 6MT. But when the time comes things could be different. We'll see what happens.
[ahem] E63 AMG-S Estate, keep a hatch.[/ahem] Since there's no budgetary restriction

I'll still restrict myself though.

Searching for fun and saw this: New 2017 Mustang GT Premium 6MT under $40k: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...7403/overview/

Holy cow this M3 is so nice, but it has the DCT: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...6904/overview/

If you're ok with a used mustang, you can get a lightly used one for half that. They depreciate like crazy.

From many reviews I've seen/read and comments, the FoRS seems to have quite a bad ride all around and is a common complaint. I'm sure there are people who just live with it or have titanium spines....but seems like if a short lived reviewer gets uncomfortable with the ride it probably can be quite hard to live with on a daily basis for many people.

Yeah no kidding.

Just saw a recent video on a lightly bolted on 18 Mustang GT putting down over 470whp on I think just I/H/E and a tune. Dude was saying how the gen 3 coyotes are very good and responds quite nicely to even light power adders.....

How the fuck did someone get a M3 to $103,000!? I tacked on every single option including Individual Ext. & Int. options and still came out to just $90,000.

Speaking of M3, Srika, are there any shops you recommend for PPI in Chicago? Been emailing a dealer up there about a ‘06 M3.

Well the paint to sample individual paint (I think that's either a Lambo or Porsche color) is probably about $10k in itself. If you pick a BMW color from any generation, it's like $5k. If you pick something else, it's easily double that or more.

Then add on all the CF M Performance nonsense and you'll quickly arrive at $100k no problem.

Grigio Telesto on an older M3 was a $7,000 option. Looking at the ad, some of that stuff must be BMW-supplied accessories you can't normally order on the build sheet.

$100,000 for a M3 is still nuts. That's the price of a new M5 or better yet, the add-ons are nearly worth the value of the car alone.

Yeah it's nuts but there are still plenty of people with more money than sense out there.

It's a status thing. You want something others don't have.
If you have the money, you're not really worrying about this or that.
You like it and you buy it. I know people like this and I'm always like.. okay. lol.

When you value your money and value function over form.
Well.. lots of much cheaper options that get you in the same playing field.
But you're not really trying to floss in that field, you just want to play.

That being said.. for +100k.. that M3 better be laguna seca / atlantic blue / lime rock / austin yellow
Essentially.. look at me!!!! I'm a douchebag who spent too much on this M3

Especially when that M3 won't be worth any more than any other M3 the minute it drives off the lot.

I mean.. that's anything AMG or M right?? or big body luxe.
Somebody is paying 100k something for it and dropping it for less than half at some point.
They're not even worried about it. They still gonna buy it new and drop it for the next thing after a few years.
That's when we get in!

There's a market for everything. Some people are perfectly happy with McDonald's burgers, some think 5 Guys is the cream of the crop, some won't bother without Kobe....all of this regardless of wealth.

Just placed an order for my next car over the weekend... now the waiting game begins. Will provide more details once the car gets here.

I test drove a 6mt M4 while i was there, had no intention is getting 1 since #1 i have had the same interior for the past 6 years (335, 435), i just want something new. #2, still too expensive

I had driven quite a few of the dual clutch F8X M3/M4, but this was the first time driving a 6mt.
I was surprised that after 3 years of not driving 6mt, It felt so natural and easy

But damn... car was brutal in a good way and i LOVED it... but still ordered something else at the end

I'm sure I'm not giving it fair credit
It's most definitely not meant for eV mode
and truly meant to be a always on hybrid
But still!! I would turn off radio and A/C if I needed to be eV mode

So that means Lee is going to be flooding IG about how special his Huayra build is and how it's the "tribute" to the Tricolore.

Grooaaaannnnn.
