Yah my GC is a hatch.... let's just say it is almost exactly the same car as the S5 sportback.... obviously minus the drivetrain and the engine. The design and shape and everything is almost identical

I dunno, I could consider it but the BMW dealerships here have a horrid rep for service that borders on incompetence. Not sure I want that baggage. Although, the 4er in that blue is tits. I think price-wise though, the 4er tops out close to $75K CAD the way I want it...the S5 is $5K less and that's even with me throwing in the differential.

I dont know about Canada, but in the US 4 series is significantly cheaper to buy or lease than the S5 sportback.... regardless what the MSRP says. Like it is not even close.....

I'm adding in the Nav and premium packages though...and I think starting out without anything, you are right that the 440 is less. But, it soon blows right past the Owdee in pricing once you load it similarly. I'll try it again at home tonight and see.

Just to give you an idea on the price discrepancy.... my 435GC is about 6xx a month lease with 60k sticker USD,,, $2k drive off.
Similarly equipped S5 is about $200 month more... like i could get a M3/4 for the price of S5....

A fully loaded A4 4 banger cost more to lease than a fully loaded 340 that is 6 cylinder.....

I went out thinking I'd buy a BMW, but I was so uncomfortable in my tester. The Audi was just my favorite. After this lease, I'm going to re-evaluate.

Anyways, just got back from hooliganing in the S5 Sportback. Um yeah. I'm going to get it.

Going to appraise the MINI Countryman with them mid-next week and then probably put in the deposit for the 2019 S5. I'll keep BMW as an option for negotiation and/or if things go south with Owdee. And yes, of course the Owdee will be white.
