Someone bite the bullet already and get the new Mustang!
Or throw cash my way and I'll gladly do it.

New wheels can wait until summer.
Oh man, I hope both of them will be at the Chicago Auto Show! I am definitely going! February 14-22 2015.

19" winter tires are hella expensive ... I'm not 100% on the performance pack (I hate black wheels) but $2K for that plus another $1100 for winter tires ... Blergh.

$1,200 for decent tires such as Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4.
Although looking back at my order history... I did pay $912 for my 235/40R-18 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 XL. Ordered in December 2012 so I'm sure the prices were inflated.
But they are so worth it. Love these tires.
On that note, Tire Rack already has the 2015 GT350 in their system.
For 2015 Mustang GT w/perf pckg it has 255/40-19 front and 275/40-19 rear! Which leaves only choice as Blizzak LM-32 staggered at $1,184.

Aman has a 2001 Accord..
I think I'd rather take my chances with a first run mustang getrag transmission

Itz JDM y0!
The Ecoboost with performance pack seems like a really, really good deal honestly, for $33k. A Nismo 370Z runs 40kish, G37 around 40k, and a regular BRZ Monogram is $30k.

The MSRP on the GT is only 32k.. it's the creature comforts and track pack that put it over 40k.

If you compare a EB Premium and GT Premium the difference in price is $7000. As far as I can tell, the only significant difference is the engine.

The car better handle well with that much of tires. haha

Consider it justified.
I wouldn't want to track a GT because I'd be afraid to bin it into a wall/bridge/tree/other immovable object.

I know. I was being a jackass. It's not.

It sounds like you just don't like tracking any of your car! haha
But if it was my choice to make, I would buy a GT and drop some $ to modify it.. so it would actually go even faster.
I love the EB Mustang too, don't get me wrong. But your justification on the price difference sounds super biased! haha

Totally understandable!
I can't wait for you to pick it up and post some pics!
It should be so much more fun to drive than your Focus.
RWD is where it's at!
My modded MS3 was so much, much faster in a straightline than my BRZ is. But really, I don't miss a thing about it. Not trying to defend my ownership like that retard in TLX automotive news thread. But the driving experience of a RWD sports car is just on another level.

I'd love to track it but learning on a 430hp RWD muscle car is a sure fire way of crashing it. Learning on something smaller and slower is a good place to start before making your way up to racing a high hp car.
