Interesting... conventional knowledge says you should just slam on the brakes while maintaining course. Swerving is bad, as I'm sure you're aware. But that's an interesting scenario.

What do you do? Basically drive head on into your own doom or... ?

Well, I learned all my driving skillz from Gran Turismo. And from Gran Turismo, I learned that going straight into a concrete block does nothing to my car.

Damn, forgot to do that when I went to the track. Next time if I'm going too fast into a turn I'll just bump into the back of the car in front of me to slow down!

And drifting? Fark...I learned it all from Initial D. So, between a cartoon and video game? I'm better than Ayrton Senna.

No lie, I learned how to heel-toe from Initial D. Rewinded multiple times, then went out to practice in my car

Speaking of the legend though, I figure it's nice to repost this video... his heel-toe is sooo smooth. Instead of stabbing the gas, it's like a gentle roll on the throttle.

If a semi jumped the median to your side, you're dead anyways.

Which is why I said I'd just basically yank it to the right. We have those concrete medians so he wont get sooooo far on the other side of the fwy and it will def be a ltl slower pace. So I'll have more time. I've thought about this quite a bit haha.

Practice swerving in Gran Turismo and see what happens.

Or Grand Theft Auto.

As if dealing with traffic on my side was bad enough, now you have me paranoid about oncoming traffic

I like to think braking will give me more time to decide what to do in that scenario. Not completely stopping obviously, but enough to decide to dart right or left.

haha depending on my speed, i will more than likely lose some control and i'm fine with that. I don't wanna die! And I won't be in triple digit speeds so i wont be straight up understeering and go straight into the semi.

Guessing the owner got married. Can't see a wife dedicating half her house to cars & gym equipment.

That's really nice. Too bad it's only on .55 acres.

There's a billiard table on top of the car lift, so when the lift is down, you can play.

Nice gym, too.

And I like the hose and cleaning supplies/spray bottles in the garage. Perfect place to keep your cars clean.

I would buy it. I like staring at my car as it is.

I find it also that it's a 6750 sq ft home and only has 2 bedrooms and only 1 full bath... (and 3 half)

I guess the main focus is really on the garage. I guess it was mainly designed to be a "bachelor pad" type of thing.

Road & Track published some insider information that the 2016 Focus RS is coming to North America with AWD and as much as 350hp from the 2.3L Ecoboost engine shared with the Mustang.

Sources claimed it will be an extremely limited in numbers and there wasn't any mention of price.

Is the Mustang pulling 350 ponies from the ecoboost engine as well?

If not.. sounds like a tuner.

Saw my first new C-class in the wild today. It really does look like an S-Class, especially from the rear. Proportions are a little funky though. It has some rake. I prefer the front end of it more.

Ah, fuck me. I do miss having the torque for a daily driver. I loved the RS and hated that it didn't come over here. Wasn't too hot on the idea of a high-powered FWD either. But now...

If that weren't a tempting enough proposition for me, I see and hear the Shelby GT350 video. I love the sound a flat-plane crank V8 makes. It's why I loved the TVR V8s so much... just a raucous sound. The guess of a high-revving engine is spot on too, 8000 rpm redline, track-ready Mustang?

Maybe in a few years

310 in the Mustang. But a tune should hit 350 easily.

Oh gosh. If this is true, there goes my money. I'll probably be finished paying off the ST just a few months before the RS debuts.

I would like the 2.3L EB and AWD, please. Thank you.

This question just popped in my head right now.

Can you run diesel without turbo?

I tried to think of a car/trunk that is diesel without any kind of FI and i could not find any.

If regular gas can run without FI, why does diesel cars always/usually have some kind of FI with it?

Wow, an NA diesel engine?

I can't for the life of me recall a car with that...ever. I do know that working for a power systems and heavy equipment dealership in the past, there are GENERATORS that are NA and run on diesel fuel. Otherwise, yeah...got nothing.

Free e-waffle for anyone who can think of an NA-diesel engine car! Cuz, seriously, I'm drawing a blank!
