I forgot which version of the Fusion I drove... wait it was the hybrid I think. Maybe thats why I dont have favorable views of it.

Also Fords interior, while it may look good is def a quality below what I presume the TLX's would be.

Still though when that time comes for me and I can afford, say an M3. I don't care how squished the back is for my kids, I'm getting it.

Ooo...Honda Fit's a good car. One of my few faves of Honda's current fleet. If say Little Cha could drive, the Fit would be one of my Top 3 choices for him.

Costco buys a BRZ and wants a Mazda5 ... I think he's become horsepower phobic

Costco, you should just stop screwing around and get this:

But that dyno graph is so profound that i am speechless...

I love the car but god the interior fit and finish isn't becoming of a $35k car. Rattles everywhere at 10,000 miles. One is in my left ear inside the B pillar and I'm ready to take a sledgehammer to it. Sunroof leaked a few months ago (clogged drain).

As I always say, f it, it's a lease.

I think they have bad headliner glue and the two sections are rigid and rattle. Sorry man, that sucks. And disappointing from Ford.

Yeah its a bummer, but it really is my only qualm with the car. It drives great and has everything I need otherwise.

Going to the dealer this Saturday to (tactfully) pitch a fit about why there are still rattles after four visits to the service dept.

Styling wasn't my favorite. Fusion is youthful. Turbocharged. Wanted to experience something outside of the Honda family (I like trying new things). Next will probably be German.

I have a scubaru with front struts and while it rides ok, it NOT soak up road imperfections as well as the CL type S does.. it just seems to be a bit harsher.. although the Subaru will corner as well as the CL-S does thanks to AWD

No (I should), but I do scour forums to see how cars and their occupants end up in accidents.

I watch impact tests to make sure the car doesn't terribly suck.

This. Many of their cars would look significantly better with different styled wheels and a little less chrome.

Yes. I want my next car to have a good small offset crash rating. Otherwise, I will not buy it.

Yeah. Duh. Just imagine the RLX with upgraded wheels. It's a Pagani Zonda fighter.

It's the first thing I consider. I talk a lot about performance, but if it doesn't meet the mark, I don't even consider it. Safety is numero uno.

IIHS has a fairly new test for front quarter impact (small overlap front test). I drive a lot of 2-lane highways and every fucking day it's either oncoming or some douche in front of me who can't control their vehicle and stay within the yellow. Next ride will definitely be high marks in that regard.

Yea I just saw something on autoblog where it said the Fit got a bump in the small overlap test to acceptable. Or something like that. So it just made me wonder if people look. I havent bought a car, but I never really payed attention to it, just wondering if you guys do when you buy a car.

whoa... firs time finding out about the small overlap test.

The FR-S got "acceptable"! It's a good test, I can see that happening on a two-lane road.

I'd go away. Sometimes when driving on the fwy I just imagine some semi going through the median and in my head I just launch the steering wheel to the right whether theres a car next to me or not.
