The new 2015 Hyundai Sonata looks nice. Acura, take note on how to design wheels.
I just wish the grille didn't have the black patch in the middle. (I'm guessing maybe that's the forward collision warning?)
I don't like how only black, white, and urban sunset (orange) can have a black interior on the Sport 2.0T. Every other color comes with gray interior only.
Anyone see the new commercial that just came out? Looks and sounds nice. I can't find it on the internet yet, though.

^ I like it & for not really being a fan of "loud" colors, I like the Urban Sunset & the orange highlight interior.
Too bad no 6MT available
On another note, saw a new Outback yesterday by my office, looked really good, much better than the last-gen, IMO.

When the hell did the Sonata become so expensive? I just built a 2.0T and it came out to $34,400
Maybe I'm just a cheap bastard

Acura take note? I think the TLX is a good looking car. I dunno if you guys talked about it much, but i read like half a review and the TLX looks promising actually. Hopefully it starts bringing people back to the brand.

Sonata is 1 level below TLX, so you can't really cross shop those 2. It doesn't matter what they look like.
On the other hand, Saw a Genesis yesterday, that thing screams upscale and VIP status in black....
I can't think of another sedan in $30k-$40k that can compete with its looks and road presence.

The TLX is a good car. It is not a great car, and that's what Acura needs right now.

It would be between Q50, TLX, and Genesis. Although I'm not sure if the TLX is the better option between those... At least i'm not throwing it away like I would the last gen TL and actually considering it haha

TLX SH-AWD needs a 6MT. It would be a very attractive package with it.

This is very strange, but I occasionally get random ideas like this... I think an interesting daily driver would be a Mazda5!
It's cheap and gets the job done. Yes, it's a minivan! The sliding doors aren't even electric, but as a result, they're light so they're effortless to open. And get this... it comes in stick!
If it weren't a Mazda and it were automatic, I probably wouldn't care as it's just another minivan/crossover. But a Mazda + manual trans = fun. I keep thinking I'll get a dog(s) and so a vehicle like this would be perfect.
dat practicality

I'd need to read up more on it, but I think for me if I had say a family of 4 with kids in their teens, and i wanted a luxury sport sedan, this would be a top contender. As much as I like the 3 series, which would be my choice right now, its just too small. Same goes for IS, and C class.

You're better off getting a used Mazda3 hatch than the Mazda5 IMO. Hell, get a used JSW that will fit dogs in the back and a bike (not at the same time) and doesn't look like you have exploding ovaries

Wait, what?
True that. I would bet the TLX is funner to drive though. It's a lot lighter than the 4G TL, and lighter than the Fusion AWD I'm sure.
Lest we forget, Road and Track did a comparison between a 335i, G37S, S4 and TL SH-AWD. The TL was the slowest in the 1/4 mile despite having AWD - a full 0.8 sec and 6 mph slower in the trap than the S4. Yet the TL pulled in a lap time that beat both the 335i and G, losing to the S4 by only 0.4s. Impressive.

I am sure those cars will be faster with all season tires.

Yeah, should have put another line break there.

Watch out, Jaguar and your CATS suspension. One can only hope that Acura releases a Power Understeer Sway System Yaw control on its next something something-X car.

If you want a TLX with more, um... vigor, there's a 3.5-liter V6 with 290 horsepower available with front or Acura's SH-AWD. If you don't pony up for SH-AWD, you get P-AWS (precision all-wheel steer) so that fits in with Acura's tough/active/dynamic image for the TLX. Or whatever.

Superior HVAC vent and navigation screen placement ensure superior aerodynamics with the air conditioning on, and prevent the driver from becoming distracted (respectively)

Honestly Costco, if I hadn't cheaped out and bought a TDI JSW I'd still be driving it. I only got rid of the VW because I hated the I-5 engine. If VW announces they are bringing a 4Motion Golf Sportwagen to the States, then I'm waiting for that ... Don't be scared of ze Germans
