35mm f1.8
It's nothing crazy. I love my 50mm, but wanted something a little more useful as the focal length of the 50 is a bit limiting in most of the situations I'm in. The 35 should be here Wednesday

From: Kansas City, MO (Overland Park, KS)
People com from allover the states to see Kancamagus Highway
It's the time where tree leaves get weird
And October 18 at 10AM, BRZ/FRS people drives up there
Route 112, Conway, NH
Come here and put that camera into use dammit
I thought my pictures were good.Something has changed.
Either you slowed down or I am moving faster
6 months 15k miles here
But seriously, amazing shots
Much appreciated sir.
My mileage has slowed down tremendously. My commute is now 23 miles each way, and I've been alternating cars since March. I think I've only got around 9k miles on the FRS so far this year.
I wouldn't mind heading up to NH, but I can't swing the time off that soon. I'm taking another 10 days off between now and the end of the year, and really can't take any more time. I do need to put the camera to use though.
This weekend I plan on hitting up C&C Saturday morning, then coming back home to clean up the garage so I can actually park the FRS in it. Its killing me that I've got to park it outside with all the "normal" cars. She's better then that.

I totally understand. I saved all of my vacations for thanksgiving and christmas.
9 days for thanksgiving
7 days for christmas
May be I'll drive down there.
I'll keep you updated if there is a big meAt during winter around here.
Same here with the garage, somehow I have to open up a space for BRZ.
Aman why didn't I get that joke?
I love you man hahaha

If you're going NH, might as well go get some sick a$$ shots at Acadia State Park in Maine...in the Fall...
Funny you mention that, Morgan. With the Canon I had a 50...but found myself annoyed at having to stand 40 feet away to shoot my car (which is usually the subject). I solved that by switching to 35 prime when I swapped to Nikon and I love it.

Thanks, and this convo is not off topic - when you're in my thread, just remember that anything relating to the cars in the title is considered off topic
My grandmother is from Rhode Island, and she's been living in NY since the late 40s/early 50s. She still doesn't have an 'R' in her alphabet

^Maine is "Vacationland"! And if anyone hasn't been, you need to. Especially Summertime.
I was born/raised there. Go back every other year, parents still have a camp (house) on a lake.

Not FR-S/SportX Related...
Well I got to play with the 35mm today. I'm not happy with most of the pics I took, but that's mainly because I didn't have the f stop set properly. I love the clarity - at least when what I intended to focus on is in focus
I need to play around with this lens a bit more. But here's a few samples:

No shots of my cars; I haven't had the motivation to wash either of them.

Finally you can relax a little. You deserve that.
