Fk that...I'd take a well buffed/polished/waxed imperfect paintjob over paying $1000 or more for a vinyl wrap.

IMO, of course...

Silver is boring as fk...I know first hand, but still clean and well maintained trumps that and saves you money.

Opti Coat or similar $800-1k. I'm too lazy to spend all the time and effort waxing my car now. But I do care.

Well, the wagon had 11 years of previous owners, and even though some of the panels were resprayed, its still not great. And did you really pay over $400 for Opticoat??

I didn't. But I considered it.

That includes full body paint correction, paint prep for opticoat (clay, etc.). Why would it be less than $400? There was a guy doing it locally for less than that, but results were mixed.

Dude...a good full correction could cost you more than that, that sounds fair.

I thought it was just for the opticoat. Didn't realize that was a full correction.

That's what I was thinking. I dug up the old quote, and let's just say it was within that range I mentioned.

He does amazing work.

oh alright. I was like, where are you getting it for that cheap?!

Good to know anyway. If I could do it over again, I would have gotten Opticoat right as I left the dealer lot.

I agree. If I ever buy a new car again, that's exactly what I'll be doing. And the dealer won't be pulling off the plastic, because I want to protection on there to get it home/to the shop to do it.

In other news, the parts I ordered last week are supposed to be delivered on Monday. I was hoping to have them today, but its too cold out to work on the car anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I love the weather here. It's 70s during the week, when I'm working, and then 50s on the weekends.

67 Elanor
69 Camaro
72 Charger

Tanner drives the show.
Rutledge is weird guy

Ohh and I love how Tanner makes up excuses and goes in to details when something new happens or comes up.
I do the same but he is more clear than me haha

I'll be waiting a long time for a Type R in the states.

Besides, its fwd. Now, I said this since day one of owning the FRS; if Honda puts out a rwd coupe with decent power, I'm trading the FRS in immediately.

Something from Honda that has 4 digits and a "S" in it's name.
I don't know how fat looking hatches like Focus, GTI, Type R would drive with rwd. There isn't any I guess, right
