Yes sir, they were potent indeed. For a good while I questioned my decision to sell it to get the TL.
One day I had a black stock type s rsx mess with me at a light in the TL when I first got it (stock)...I pulled a few car lengths on him. He was cool though, he said he was surprised a full size sedan could rape him like that. I raped him.

Fixed, mustve forgotten the "s" in slow.
The J is a potent engine. I love it. I just wish the aftermarket would pay a bit more attention to it.

I kept going back and forth with your post and mine trying to figure out what you meant.

BTW, forgot to mention, today - err, yesterday (the 16th) marked the 6 month anniversary. So I washed her up in preperation for Cars and Coffee. Wash, wax, and tire shine.

Ill take more pics tomorrow at C&C, but the car hasn't changed since my last update.

Yeah, dat tire shine!
I don't know why but I thought the same thing about the J being a powerful engine. I also couldn't stop laughing with my "I raped him" final sentence.

I havent driven a whole lot the past month either.
Met up with t0talacuratl and Ragintype S for Cars and Coffee (it was freezing), then DoC-JoneS met us for some lunch.

Also:

To recap the day:
-Got 3hrs of sleep
-Froze my ass off at C&C
-Parked on the interstate for almost an hour because of an accident
-Almost got ran off the road by an old guy in an F150
-Got a rock chip in the windshield

Though I was partial to this:

And these:

The Lambo sounded amazing though, and that Viper was spinning well into 3rd when he left. Luckily Williamsburg C&C is right on a highway, so taking off out of it isn't as bad as, say, Charlotte would have been. Its still frowned upon though.

No sir!...ME
I never drive more than 15 to 30 minutes to a meet. Whether or not I have a good time is always such a crapshoot so I don't do it. I might set something up soon, locally.

Ahhhh OK. Well I am thinking of setting up a regional Acurazine meet in Atlanta sometime next year. Maybe if we get a lot of people together it will be worth the drive for you then.
This Thanksgiving Im thankful for finally having the time to install the Crawford Air-Oil Seperater that Ive had sitting around for about a month.

The install isn't truly complete, I obviously need to get some hose clamps and I want to get longer hoses so I can route them a bit better.
I was also poking around some of the Civic parts and came across two bags of dress up bolts. I had doubts that they would fit, but they did
Its hard to tell, but whatever.

I need to get a few more for the larger bolts, I'd like to replace all of them and make it look pretty. And yes, the intake manifold cover is missing. As I mentioned above, I'm waiting to get some new vacuum hoses to finish the install. I don't want to trim the cover before I have the lines routed the way I like.
I dont remember if I posted my Grimmspeed oil cap:

And I need to figure out what to do with these:

I don't like all that chrome, but I don't want to smoke them, black them out, or make them all red. I want to do something different.
I plan on washing the car in the morning since its supposed to be in the mid-60s, then take a ride through the park near my new place. Hopefully I can get some good pics.

Pockros was the first thing I thought of when I saw that cap too. Is air-oil separator another term for oil catch can?
It's refreshing to see an engine bay that's functional without any plastic engine cover tomfoolery around. Looking good!
Did you bring up the CL, Civic and bikes yet?
It actually is. #123 of 140. I wanted #16 so it would match my First 86 number, but oh well. The cap was only $45 for the numbered caps. I think the price doubled since.Yea, its been done.
Cut open and blacked out, not sure if I like it since the pictures aren't the greatest:

Though it looks great on black:

Painted red then smoked, don't like it:

These look good but I dont want to do an overlay:

Its tough to get a good mix of sporty and class. The red painted tails look cheap. And the blacked out tails look a bit too aggressive for the look Im trying to go with. Plus, then I'd have to do something with the headlights and the turn signals. The chrome doesn't bother me a whole lot TBH, at least not enough to cut them open and do something about it. I may just wait for the aftermarket to come out with something that looks good or is at least cheap enough to buy then mod (Depo, you listening?).
Yea, but apparently this one is a bit different in that it doesnt "catch" the oil. Taken from Crawford:
- The first step in the process is a large volumetric swirl pot. The function of the swirl pot is to use centrifugal force to remove the oil from the air. The air is then passed through a second chamber (see second step below), and extracted through the top of the AOS. Gravity then sends the remaining oil down the walls of the swirl pot and collects in the bottom of the AOS. At this point the separated oil sitting on the bottom of the AOS is returned to a baffled chamber in the center of the engine block.
- The second step involves a second chamber located within the first chamber. As the separated air moves up inside the AOS, it must enter the second chamber before it can vent out the top of the AOS. The function of the secondary chamber is to remove any residual oil that may have made its way up the swirl pot. The secondary chamber also has a drain to return any separated oil back to the engine.

Ummmm.......

Theyre still sitting at the other place. But I sold the K20 that was going in the Civic, so the Civic is one step closer to going out the door
I also sold the Triumph back in May, so I only have the one bike to bring over here. Which I cant wait to do, Ill have the space to spread out and rebuild it this winter.
