Ahhh I see you put the CL in the garage nicely done
I wish I had cool fall weather in the desert . Temps above 80 all week, and with the little amounts of trees we have they're all greenish .

The CL, Civic, and bike are actually still sitting at my old place. Ill be bringing the Civic and bike to the new place Monday. The CL will hopefully join them but it will most likely be Wednesday before I can pick it up.Ill trade you the desert for the shit Im dealing with now. 60 during the day, mid 30s at night

The bike, FR-S, and Civic get priority in the garage. But its an oversize garage and quite deep. So if I situate it properly, I think all can fit. Once I clean up the garage I have to post some pics of it.

Unfortunately Im renting for the time being. I want my down payment fund to grow a bit more. I almost pulled the trigger, but I didn't feel comfortable financing that much money. I also want to pay the car down a bit more.

Hey Morgan , I went down to toyota/scion yesterday and took one for a spin .
It was a managers car that he traded in. Red with red stiched interior, 9,xxx miles .
The ride was nice , the shifter was
, but the power was ehh not too exciting, but there . I got on it from a 40mph or so roll , 2nd and grabbed 3rd downhill (the salesman only let me get on it downhill
good sales point it makes the car faster) Brakes work well .
After driving so much automatic I stalled it once, clutch is sticky for a stock car imo . Compared to all the ford, toyota, and saturn my friends drive .
Let just say , if it wasn't 25k, I'd trade the CL for it

...2 pictures is your big update and then you rag on me for not having more!
Glad you weathered it well.
Now I'm jealous of your car and especially your house. Renting? That's what I aspire to one day have...2 car garage.

Yea, Im renting for the time being. Just building up my house fund for the time being.
On the topic of the FR-S. I've severely neglected it the past few weeks. Its filthy inside and out and I havent even been parking it in the garage
I need to spend some time later this week cleaning it up.
Also, Im at 15,2xx miles as of today. I really need to prep it for storage so I dont have to drive it in the snowy/really cold weather.

...Morgan. Is your avatar Chip's Halloween costume?
Good work btw...sometimes I've been feeling like I want to stop being crazy and actually let my poor car GET dirty before my next wash. I am nuts about cleaning it every week.

Hmmm, I think it might be. Not sure, but Im thinking a rise in pressure, if you catch my drift.
Chip = The Machine? If so, then yes. But Im about to change it. He was a good sport about me using it too. Hat tip to him.
And thankyou. Letting the car get this dirty will make the next wash seem more rewarding, but its going to take about twice the time to get it cleaned up
Id be flattered.

I had to take the highlander into the dealer to have one of the windows re-tinted this morning.
They had just gotten a red FR-S so I finally got look up close. Very nice, it was auto so I didnt bother trying to ask if I could drive it (but I doubt they would have)
I also had a blue BRZ behind me in traffic this morning after dropping the kids at daycare. I see more and more of them everyday.

Yea, in more populated areas theyre beginning to pop up more and more. My friends send me pics of the ones they see nearly daily. I still dont see many in this area though.

Because Im lazy and dont want to leave for work yet, Ill post a quick story:
My brother was helping me move in at the beginning of the month. He drove the truck because Budget charges a fee for anyone under the age of 24, and I drove the FR-S to the house.
Well, 6pm came, and my brother had to go take his girlfriends son to football practice. I let him borrow my car. Of course I went over everything in the car like a concerned parent would. But anyway, he came down the block about 30 minutes later, right behind my new neighbor.
The neighbors kids got out of the car, and saw my brother park right in front of the house. One of the kids said "Thats their car?!?!?" Apparently, he really liked it
I asked my brother a bit later what he thought about the car. He said it reminded him of his CRX and going through some of the twisty roads near here made him want to trade in his Accord. Then he tried to say the next bit nicely - it was too slow
He said he was in fourth and tried to accelerate through one of the turns at about 40mph, and nothing happened. I told him that whatever gear hes in in his Accord, go one lower in the FRS. And you definitely can't expect much when the engine is lugging around 2500rpms, theres no power down there whatsoever.

Does he drive a stick Accord?
I'd think that for someone that has experience driving stick it'd be pretty apparent if they were WAY below the powerband and/or lugging the friggin engine.

Well, I guess my point was that he should be able to have felt what gear he should have been in before getting on it in 4th expecting it to move.
Same with the RSX...it was kinda meh to drive, until you hit vtec to fkn 8400...then it was...oh hellz to the fk yes.

I remember A couple years ago out on the 14 coming home from Palmdale, I had an RSX-S try and mess me with and I dusted him...He tried again and I let myself get stuck in the HOV lane behind another car because my wife was getting freaked out...sigh.
Yep. Hell, at 40 in the FR-S, he shouldve been in 2nd.And I miss VTEC.
I had an RSX mess with me a year or two ago when I was driving the CL. He had some work done, but I still put a few cars on him. Those K series motors are potent though.About 25 minutes west of my old place. Its in a more populated part of town and they are still building it up. I was tired of having to drive so far just to go to the damn supermarket. Its also closer to my start point for work, so I dont have to deduct as much mileage which means I get paid more.
Yep. Hell, at 40 in the FR-S, he shouldve been in 2nd.Yea, Ive yelled at him in the past when Ive been a passenger in the Accord. He'd go through a turn at ~50mph in 5th gear and give it gas to try to pull away from traffic. Thats no bueno for the engine.
And I miss VTEC.

One of my friends from school got one in white. Looks hawt
