The GT is definitely a heavy machine...
as far as dyno queen...I can say that with a tune and slicks...they were running into the 10's for a quarter. That's some serious ass in seat feeling...

Don't worry Morgan, that's why I grabbed an extra one for you
You better wear that ish.
I always love trashing around cars that isn't mine. Especially when I don't have to pay for gas and it's on a coned auto-x course.

Some parts come in today, but I had to order some other parts that wont be in until the beginning of next

Other then that, nothing new with the car. Some kid in a Volvo V70 with what sounded like an exhaust leak wanted to race me today. I didn't go for it since I had just gotten some Chick-fil-a and didnt want to spill it

I'd rather have the FR-S...those Veyron's are a bitch to park. Last time I went to movies in one, I didn't even catch the plot because I was so worried about it getting scratched.
The scion...not so much.

Not that I am defending, in any way, a comparison between a BRZ and Veyron, but the Veyron didn't do as well as expected around the Top Gear (UK) track. Stig said too much power (allegedly...since no one's actually heard the Stig say anything.
There is a Zonda Vs BRZ thread mentioned. I couldn't find it though.

Wow, are they on bad glue...?
Yea, but not that well on the Top Gear track means absolutely legendary.

I remember them saying the Lambo Aventador was too easy to drive and not like a regular Lambo...that made me want it even more.
I'm sure at some circuits, having LESS power and grip would actually make it easier and more fun to navigate and possibly even perform better.
But that's the same argument a little person might have about how much better it is to be little at a nut punching contest. I mean, how often are any of us involved in nut punching contests, right!!?!?

I didn't read the brz vs veyron thread. The reason why the veyron didn't do that well on top gear track is simple. It is a tight/technical track where the veyron can't use all its power and suffers from being so damn heavy(over 4000 lbs.).
It is more of a straight line/top speed car. The weight does help with grip tho.
The veyron is no go cart when it comes to handling.
